Works exactly as described. 2kg dried out my very wet car in the space of a few days and turned dark green. Afterwards I popped it in a cool oven overnight and it has returned to its desiccated orange state, ready to reuse. Very happy.

Works really well, I'm using it in my 3d printer AMS and it's brought down the humidity 10 fold. Very good value for money size is great and I love the fact it's reusable. The colour change is really noticeable which lets me see when it's too far gone.

I've been using this to dry out my 3d printer filament and it works fantastic. I've also thrown some in a perforated tub in my utility room and its kept the cupboards I've put it in moisture free.

I 3d printed some trays and other containers with my Creality k2 combo and put these in the CFS. They are amazing quality. They are really easy to use, you print some trays and open the lid. Once I had opened it once, to ensure it was airtight and they didn’t absorb any moisture from inside my house, I taped the lid to the the container. They really improve my print quality and fit amazingly. I would definitely recommend these!

This product arrived in high quality professional packaging. I used this in my Bambu 3d printing setup, specifically in my two AMS Pro 2 units. To provide some context, in one AMS unit I had around 12 medium sized Silica gel packages which kept the moisture level around 25% which is a little high (It's measured electronically by the AMS). I then printed 3 units units to hold this silica gel and added them to the unit replacing the standard packets. Within a couple of hours, the moisture level dropped to 5%, after 24 hours, it's a steady 3%. I need low moisture content in my AMS, and this worked brilliantly and far far better than expected. For anybody with an AMS 2 Pro unit, I filled 2 AMS Pro's with all the gel I need and I still have plenty left over. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a plastic tup containing loose silica gel beads which include some beads that change colour when the gel has absorbed moisture (water). The price per gram is about the cheapest you will find unless you buy 10 Kg or more. I have made dehumidifier bags using 500g of these silica gel beads sown into linen bags. Strong cotton fabric would work well too I imagine. In the past I have used "pop socks" or the foot section of ladies tights, to make my bags. But these are quite easily damaged. So long as the bag material is easily permeable and will allow moisture air to penetrative, the type of fabric will not matter. Though remember that to "recharge" or dry out the silica gel, the material will be subject to moderately high heat (60°c to 120°c works well in my experience) and reduces the risk of burns. The silica gel beads themselves will tolerate much higher temperature, but at the risk of starting to break down and become "dusty".

Very good desiccant, perfect for filament storage, and changes colour to let you know it needs changed.

Good delivery pleased with the product. At first I thought the plastic tub had no lid and it was just wrapped in plastic sheet. But the lid is see-through, which is handy to check the gel is still orange and hunky-dory. Good product. Recommended.

De silica is vandaag bezorgd in een platte doos, daar zou toch geen pot in passen? Toch wel, lekker plat gestampt paste de pot er wel in. Alle silica door de doos heen en ongeveer 50 gram weg, waarschijnlijk uit de doos gevallen tijdens het transport. De silica zelf ziet er goed uit, maar moet door het verzenden wel eerst gedroogd worden omdat een deel al verkleurd is.

Non do 5 stelle solo perché c'è qualche grano irregolare, per il resto rispetta quanto promesso, assorbe e si può rigenerare (gli ho fatto fare 3 giri scongelamento nel microonde) e il costo per kg è il più basso abbia mai trovato.

Lo he usado para mis drybox de filamentos 3D. Con una pequeña cantidad, los mantiene a 10-15% de humedad por mucho tiempo. Al ir cogiendo humedad, se vuelven verdes y puedes reutilizarlos con 20 minutillos de horno. Buena calidad-precio.
