I wanted a bulb bright enough to light my whole cabinet so it shined from the top glass shelf to the very bottom. You can see in a totally dark livingroom it shows off every shelf of figurines & crystal. It’s nice & bright & being led doesn’t cost an arm & a leg to run & it will last a very long time regular bulbs burn out very fast on me bcz I leave this on 24/7. I have had the bulb in for months now & it’s still fine & shining bright. I’m happy with the purchase & I like the shape of the bulb it looks like a mini flood light so it sits nicely in the figure which I think was made for this type of bulb. This shape my last two bulbs were not they were shaped more like a night light bulb but a bit brighter not THIS bright tho. If you are getting for your curio get the warm. I think the warm is less harsh. It’s great for curio cabinets tho & this size & type bulb is not easy to find in the stores

I have a small desk lamp that I converted to an LED bulb a few years ago. Well the bulb ended up dying. I couldn't remember where I bought it, so I just searched for the one that the lamp called for. This one is physically smaller, but also brighter than the one that I used. Thank you so much!

I bought this to replace the 25 watt incandescent lamp in my bedroom reading lamp. At 280 lumens it is more than twice as bright as the 130 lumen incandescent bulb it replaced. If too much brightness is a concern this could be a problem. I’ve now just adjusted my headboard mounted reading lamp down and to one side and the increased brightness is not a problem for me. The big advantage to the new LED lamp is that the metal housing on the reading-lamp housing no longer gets too hot to touch! At just 4 watts instead of 25, the metal housing just gets slightly warm! I really like this lamp, but my wife has become hooked on the smaller battery powered book-mounted LED lamps.

This bulb is the perfect replacement for a halogen bulb in an old clip-on spot/reading light I've had for years that just burned so hot it was uncomfortable. It took me a while to find an LED equivalent that was sold individually and with an acceptable color temperature (I purchased the 3000K variety, as the more common 2700K is way too warm for my taste). I would have preferred a bulb closer to 4100K, but this definitely gets the job done. I can't attest to longevity, as I just received and installed it, but it's already been great having the lamp shining on my work space without me breaking a sweat.

Bought it for an LED replacement for my entertainment cabinet. Just too bright, and does NOT go off on the off setting with the other LED bulbs in the side cabinets. And although the length of the bulb is about the same as the old incandescent bulb I'm trying to replace, it still sticks out of the opening much more than the old bulb by about 1/2 inch. The old incandescent bulb fits much deeper into the receptacle opening and thus recessed as it should be. It's especially obvious since it is so bright a bub. It barely dims on the lowest dim setting to match with the dim setting on the other 2 side light bulbs. It's a great bulb, just not good for the purpose I bought it for, and especially that it does NOT go off with the off setting on the dimmer switch. I guess I'll have to try and use it elsewhere. I tried to return the product for a refund since it did not work for the purpose I bought it for. However, the seller was so amazingly gracious and immediately issued a refund without me having to return the item. This is why I will always shop on Amazon, even if the price may not always be the lowest on any particular item.

Good replacement for the incandescent bulb that broke. Light color appears to be nice. I first mistakenly ordered size E26 instead of E17 thinking that R14 was all the same. Time will tell how long it will last and the value for the money.

Found a little spotlight on the cheap but traditional bulbs get too hot. Bought the LED for the lower temperature. Light fits, it's bright, and stays cool comparatively.
