Bought this item to use with a WiFi Dongle. The WiFi Dongle keeps disconnecting when plugged into the USB plug. WiFi Dongle works without issue when plugged into the Laptop directly. Have not used it yet for the two monitors, will update the review if this is also unreliable.

Happy with purchase, can connect 3 monitors plus the laptop or 4 without laptop and to the base unit. Light and small, can fit in any bag, good quality and for the price, you can't go wrong, would recommend.

Used this to link 2x hdmi to one usb c from my laptop and was working fine for about a month other than an occasional flash on and off on one of the screens and now has stopped working all together… very disappointing and now the return window has closed so I can’t even get my money back.

its fantastic, the display is brilliant and i needed something that supports a a 4k display and this has done everything! .... except with regards to hdr. i've noticed this each time i try to set it up, when setting monitor to hdr mode it will be unusable, it will look like the monitor is broken with the pink lines going across the screen. not a major issue by any means i'll just have to plug it into my desktop tower directly when i want to view hdr content, but thats a bit of a nit pick at that point. it also doesn't seem to work with peripheral display devices such as a drawing tablet, pluging it in any way leaves it faulty, the drawing tablet will not be usable in any way, it will turn on, and it will say a display is connected, but the tablet functionality will be non-existant, for drawing tablets that can be powered through usb-c cable, again issues as the usb-c on the docking station, do not support display outputs either.

This was bought to be the hub for my laptop (replacing a mini PC) in a 3 monitor set up. After a few mins and screen flashes (as Windows installs drivers etc) it works a treat, it is highly recommended especially with the voucher (this was bought 31/07/21) for the price point. This now means i can use my laptop as a desktop, but also unplug and take my system (with files etc) away, so from a security point of view thats a bonus too. I cant say enough good, although if i have anything bad to say i will update this accordingly, but i hope i dont have to.

Used to save me pulling all cables out my laptop when at work and home. Just have one cable into laptop and power. Cheaper than a proper USB docking station

TL;DR Great USB C hub for Macbook Pro 16. It has all the necessary adaptors and it has a good low profile shape which can be integrated smoothly with the MBP 16. (See uploaded video) I will highly recommend this hub. Pros: 1. I purchased this usb c hub to convert the my MBP16 usb c to USB-A and sd card reader. And it works great, every usb converting function is working as expected. In the meantime, the hub won't get extremely hot (my previous adaptor does). It will keep in a warm temperature which is acceptable. 2. I occasionally use its HDMI adaptor to connect my MBP to a 1080P monitor, and the monitor can work smoothly in 60HZ. 3. I really like its low profile design and it can be connected/integrated with my MBP smoothly. The hub is tightly connected with my mac and they are almost in the same level, I can put my mac on the desk and do not need to worry if the hub has bump or create uneven point. Cons: 1. The hub's power light won't turn off, even I shutoff my laptop. It maybe because I have my mac's power cable always connected, but I think it makes more sensor to shutdown the hub if the laptop is in sleep mode or shutdown. 2. It lacks DP adaptor. I think this "Con" belongs to Apple. I cannot find a usb c to hdmi adaptor that support 4k 60Hz output. So to use mac with 4K 60Hz monitor, it needs to be "usbc to usbc" or "usbc to dp". In general, I think a DP adaptor is more preferable than a HDMI for a Mac.

I got a new Macbook pro and I knew as soon as I bought one, I was going to need buy an adapter. I came to amazon to look for a sturdy adapter for my macbook. This one works perfectly. It works with my USB chips, I can charge my laptop with the adapter too! This adapter did not disappoint and does what its supposed to do perfectly. On top of that, it looks great and you can tell it's high quality as soon as you take it out the box. It also matches my space gray mac beautifully. It almost looks like it belongs with the Mac. This is a great purchase and I definitely don’t regret buying it.

I chose this one because it looked nice and had all the ports I needed. Great price and easy to use port. I do feel that the device becomes loss kinda easily, but it might also be my desk set up. Overall great and bought two of them.

Edited: I’m increasing the number of stars because their customer service is excellent. While I’m still not pleased with the product, they made it right immediately after I contacted them. They’ve vowed to make their products better, so I’m giving them additional stars for the way they treated my complaint. Very honorable company. As a new Macbook Pro owner, I tried to be cautious with my hub purchase. I read reviews and looked over specs. And when this hub arrived, I was genuinely pleased with how lightweight and convenient it seemed. However, after using it for almost a month now, I've had nothing but issues. I use it mainly for an external mouse because I'm not a fan of the trackpad. But every mouse I've tried to connect to it, be it wireless or not, I've had problems with it staying connected using this hub. The light will be on, showing it's connected, but I lose all mouse functions. I ensure it's tight to the laptop and still nothing. I've gone through four different mice, thinking the problem was the dongle or wireless vs wired. But they all have the same problem. I've tried different ports on the hub, but the problem remains. I tried to go out to Lionwei's, the manufacturer, website, thinking it was a driver issue, but that was an adventure in itself. There are strange instructions about updating or installing a driver, but there isn't a file to download--and I'm not sure I would have downloaded it anyway since I don't think I trust the manufacturer either. So, I'm returning this thing and getting something better, even if it means paying more.
