I purchased this spice grinder to add flax seed to my daily smoothie. I require help in my home. So I wanted to spend less than hundreds of dollars on a very powerful blender. Many recipes recommended the one that begins with a V and ends with an X. I ended up buying a 900-watt Nutribullet which also handled the flaxseed well. However, it's much more convenient to grind a larger amount of flaxseed in this spice grinder than it's ready for weeks. I also like that this has a top that is able to be put on prior to the black lid that is pressed down to activate it. It can be pulsed, when necessary. It also comes with a brush for easy cleaning.

I needed a small grinder to turn coarse ground cornmeal into fine ground and did not want to spend the money on a larger machine. Since I"m only processing a half cup of cornmeal at a time, this works just great! Easy to store and doesn't take up a lot of cupboard space. The only drawback is that it cannot be washed out inside, only wiped out but that's okay since I use it only for one thing.

Compact grinder. Only thing I found not to use large herbs such as Rosemary , because it can be inconvenient for spinning and grinding. The motor is attached to the grinder, therefore water need to be avoid, giving you extra work by washing it by hands.

I have had this item about 3 months…and it works like a charm. It grinds my dried herbs just as good as if I had bought them in the grocery store! I have ground dried res peppers, basil, oregano and rosemary in it. If I want a finer grind I depress the button for a couple seconds longer. I typically on use this for the dried peppers because it grinds everything very powder fine. It comes with a little brush that is fantastic to clean around the blade to get all of your ground herbs out.

Love it, I grind small amounts of seeds for my pup daily and wasn't sure if this could handle a tbsp or even a tsp amount but it worked perfectly and beats hamd grinding daily with mortar and pestle. Only dislike is the container isn't removable for washing but otherwise this little grinder is perfect and will get tons of use and hopefully lasts long term!

This grinder is nice if you want to work hard. It does require a lot of work to grind it. Other than that is serves its purpose. It grinds pretty well.

Was worried about some reviews saying didn’t work for small pills . My husband went to only having use in one hand and also needed to crush his meds for health reasons . Bought it for off chance it’d help us . It WORKS!! Used with just a single ,very small pill and it did its job in seconds . Would highly recommend for anyone with little use of hands . I was able to return to work knowing he still has the freedom of taking his meds alone

The media could not be loaded. I use this for turning some of the hottest peppers in the world into powers. It works great will the lid to help not get the fine power in the air.
