Going to try to use for a bike holder in the pickup truck. Looks as if it will do what I wanted it to do. Only issue was the coating was applied after the threads were cut and the threads had to be cleaned out with a tap.

Super robust

After installing L-Track on the walls of an aluminum storage closet on the back of my truck camper, I wanted an L-Track accessory that would allow me to mount a pair of MaxTrax on them. This product makes this possible. Using 2-3/8" long bolts and four screw-on knobs, my MaxTrax are now firmly held in place. This accessory seems expensive for what it is, and I hate that I cannot get it in a silver color to match every other L-track accessory that I use, but I haven't found anything that offers similar functionality. I'm happy to have it available to me, and I recommend it to anyone who requires its functionality. One final note: For whatever reason, this product accepts a 3/8-24 fine-thread stud which is much harder to find than a standard 3/8-16. It is also harder to find accessories that fit on a 3/8-24 stud. What I ended up using is a stud that has 3/8-24 threads on one end and 3/8-16 threads on the other. These are considered automotive studs. They are available on Amazon in various lengths from the company "Hard-to-Find Fastener".
