Easy to install and works great!!
***Edit*** Added a Video demonstrating these. Also, after over a year these still work great and we have never had an issue with a single one even though they’re installed on every cabinet we own. Still HIGHLY recommend. We recently bought some IKEA cabinets for our laundry room and they came with the soft close hinges. After using the cabinets we really wanted to get similar hinges for our kitchen. Our kitchen isn't IKEA. After looking around these were the best deal out there and had good reviews so I went had and bought a package of them. I was slightly disappointed when I opened the package and they were plastic that looked like metal. However, after installing the first one which took all of 1 minute, it worked so well I didn't care what they were made of. I looked around just to see prices on metal ones and they were quite a bit more expensive and not worth the extra money. These are also nice and small and since they are installed with just the spring push sticking out and the rest hidden in the cabinet, they are very discrete. My wife couldn't find them at first even though she knew they were there. So they aren't big and noticeable, you will probably never have anyone notice. Our neighbors just purchased these as well because their young daughter keeps slamming her fingers in the cabinet doors. So they are also great to help prevent fingers being smashed if you have little ones at the house. The instructions it comes with are straight forward. Just drill a 3/32 I believe pilot hole then screw it in and you're done. We had four doors that needed two per door. Even with 1 of these on the door it would not slam, it just didn't have the same catch and slow close as the smaller doors. So it didn't really NEED two but I wanted those doors to close like the rest. The screw adjustment on the back is very easy to adjust and makes a big difference. That adjustment is how our bigger doors could've used just one of these but I used two anyway. It also was good for our smaller lower cabinet doors to adjust it back to close easier as those doors aren't as big. We have 48" cabinets and all of our standard doors just used one and definitely don't need two. I would highly highly recommend these to anyone looking for that soft close on their doors. I wil be buying a few more to finish up the cabinets in our bathrooms as well as I find myself slamming those now forgetting they don't soft close!

Effective, inexpensive solution to the problem
So, I started looking at slow close replacement hinges for my traditional hidden hinges. My doors have the routed-out holes for the old ones, so I was hoping for a plug and play slow hinge that would solve the problem. Took pictures of my hinges, went to Lowes and started comparing, and I still wasn't sure. Then, on YouTube, I stumbled on these simple, piston driven devices at a fraction of the price. Checked out Amazon, and there they were and with rave reviews to boot. I ordered a pack of 25, installed them, and they worked perfectly... the wife reminded me about the linen cabinet doors in the hall, so I ordered a five-pack to finish the job. I could not be more pleased with the end result. Tip: use a 7/64 drill bit as opposed to the 3/32 recommended bit for your pilot hole. It makes the hidden screw head much easier to install, and it's just as tight. You want slow closing cabinet doors for practically just about any size door? Do yourself a favor. This the way to go.

Works great and easy to install!
I have a new build home and was a little disappointed that my cabinets didn’t have the soft close feature that I had in my previous apartment. I was looking to replacing the cabinets hinges for soft close hinges when I came across these soft close dampers! It was definitely a more affordable option and required less work than if I was replacing the hinges. The directions were easy to follow and installation was quick and easy. With the damper in place, I used a drill bit to drill a hole into the cabinet before using my rechargeable screwdriver to drill in the screw. I used all 25 dampers for all of the cabinet doors in my kitchen and bathroom upstairs. I only gave 4 stars review because 2 of the dampers didn’t produce a soft close no matter how I installed it (top or bottom of cabinet door) or how I adjusted the screw. When I close the door hard enough, the “slam” is a little softer than without the damper but you almost can’t tell at all. I placed those two on the cabinet doors that we don’t use as often. Other than that, I am pleased with all my “soft close” cabinet doors! No more cabinets slamming! A must buy if you want to upgrade your cabinets for less.

Amazing!!! Easy to install and adjustable
Just installed. Easy! Adjustable! Might need 2 per door for taller cabinets...so I'm 1 short!! So far works like a dream and QUIET 🥰🥰🥰

Hardware Soft Close Damper
I didn't know this hardware existed. I thought I would need to change out the hinges and I avoided that because I didn't think I would find a hing that would fit the cabinet. But this does exists and although it functions, I am not impressed. I watched someone install a similar hardware and he did it to the side next to the hinge, so I did the same. I think this is to catch the door quicker and doesn't slam if you were to install on top center. The hardware itself doesn't seem sturdy, there is no weight to it. It feels flimsy and not well made. Installing was a pain. It only came with 1 screw, but there are 2 holes, but the screws are installed on a slant so you can only use 1 screw. If the screw is not all the way the damper is not stable. What I had to do is put in the screw half way, take off the damper and drill the screw all the way in first and then install the damper. This was the best method for me. Again it is working so far and I am happy for that.

Outstanding Product!
I bought a couple of these from a big-box store and when they worked so well, bought a pack of 25 from Amazon. Yes, they are made of plastic, but completely solved our problem of noisy cabinets. Very easy to install and I would recommend trying different positions before screwing them into position. Only one was needed for even our tallest cabinets in the kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased which should tell you all you want to know about this product....

In our previous house we had soft closing cupboard doors in the kitchen, but in our new place no such thing! So we forgot they wasn't soft closing and BANG! Each time. I saw these and thought let's give em a go, soft closing doors once again, no more bangs! The best part is they are so easy to install, and you can adjust them.

Poor design so as you tighten it as instructions show it pivots then rips the screw out of the cabinetry. Cheap plastic construction and way overpriced.

I would say these are perfect for cabinet doors that are not soft close, I installed 14 of them in 1 hour, easy peasy, and they work perfectly

Was very easy to install, works great. Can adjust the speed for closing. Although they are plastic, they look like metal, and are of good quality. Great way to upgrade cabinets.
