Litcessory 6-Pin to Cut-End Connector for Philips Hue/Solo Lightstrip (4 Pack, White - MICRO 6-PIN V4 / Solo Lightstrip)

After watching complicated ways to install under cabinet lighting using Philips Hue Lightstrip that involved ethernet cable and soldering, I wanted a simple method that would not be so challenging. These parts worked perfectly, no problem at all, with my v4 Lightstrip (Bluetooth). Everything installed without a hitch first time. there is polarity to the Lightstrip system (B-->A) so my advice is to plan the connections, cut strips to length and connect them with the various connectors end-to-end for the whole system to any wall plug (where you can get at everything easily and check it). Confirm that the plan and all the parts work. If everything works well, then run the wires through the various holes knowing that it all works.

Took less than 5 minutes to install the cut end adapter onto the Hue lightstrip and get it working. I think you can avoid an unreliable connection by making sure the raised part of the adapter connections are aligned properly with the lightstrip contacts. I did it by cutting the lightstrip to the left of the scissors line, as shown in the photo. I also left the backing tape on the lightstrip to increase the contact pressure when the adapter is clamped down. There should be no need to bend any pins or tweak the cable.

I needed a way to attach my Philips Hue Lightstrip v4 to the back of an IKEA pegboard. I had to cut the strips and then connect them using these clips and everything worked perfectly.

Others have mentioned this issue. The connections to the Hue strips didn’t function unless I pressed the strips to make the connection. I resolved this issue by bending the connector pins up on the connector casing that the light strip slides into. At this price point, the manufacturer should have fixed this obvious quality control problem.

These products do not work when trying to splice Hue light strips, lots of troubleshooting and eventually just bought another light strip. Waste of money trying to save 20 bux by splicing!

Not much competition in this space for Phillips Hue LED strips, so they are charging a premium for what you get. Works well, really easy to use. In my case it was worth the money.

Simple to use and is sturdy and well made. The pins can be removed to allow it be used as a female end which is very helpful and increases the flexibility in how/where you use it. It's bit expensive though.

These are easy to install and work really well. I was dubious when I read the reviews but there didn't seem to be any other options. Basically I'm using my hue lightstrip on the underside of my kitchen cabinets to illuminate my worktop, and was having difficulty getting the lightstrip to 'turn the corner'. Mistakenly, I decided to cut it, thinking I could use the wire connector in the lightstrip extension pack to flex in the corner, and was dismayed that you can't reconnect a cut end. These connectors easily slide in to the cut end of your hue lightstrip, leaving you with a suitable end to insert the pins of another strip. I thought I'd need my boyfriend to help me with removing some of the sheath or doing some soldering or something, but you literally just slide it in. I wasnt too happy with the price, so I ordered "used - very good" condition from Amazon marketplace and there were no issues at all. The connectors don't have any adhesive on them so you may want to add a command strip or something. The brightness and synchronisation of the lightstrip isn't impacted at all by using these. Good product and easy to use. I think they're kinda overpriced for what they are, but obviously this brand has cornered the market, and saved me having to replace a ~£50 lightstrip so overall I'm happy.

Happy with the product and results. To be clear: it takes some planning to do custom jobs with Hue strip lights. But these end connectors and some extension cables enables me to connect different cabinet heights and jump between cabinets.
