Nice sturdy trash can

The Amazon Basics Trash Can is simple, sturdy, and exactly what we needed. It has a clean, no-frills design that fits nicely in our space without looking bulky. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and it holds a good amount of trash without needing constant emptying. It feels solid and well made, especially for the price. For an affordable trash can that just works and does its job well, this one is hard to beat.

We had been using the same indoor recycling bin for YEARS and it showed. Every time I went into Home Depot I made a note to pick up a new bin. I never did. I just didn't want to spring for what seemed like a ridiculously high price. When I saw this bin on Amazon, the price was right and I ordered it. I'm glad I did. It's exactly the size of our old bin, which is what we wanted. It's also quite sturdy. I don't expect a recycling bin to be beautiful, but this one is quite nice and just made me realize just how bad our old bin was. I expect that this one will last for quite some time. Definitely worth the price and I think we'll have it for quite some time.

I got 6 of the 7-gallon wastebins for $27.25 (before tax promotion). Great deal and would recommend others to buy Amazon branded products (if they are looking for better pricing with the same quality). I wished the width on top of the wastebin was 1.5 inches smaller so it fits better under the sink cabinet because there is a sink pipe. I have to squeeze the top for it to fit under the sink. The older bin was a perfect fit because of the smaller top (width) opening. I ordered the 3-gallon wastebins (came later) from Amazon Basics even though it was smaller and it was better for my kitchen sink. The plastic looks durable as well. I am happy with the product based on the price and quality. It would be nice if Amazon offer the product in brown, white, and beige besides black to match with applicances and floorings.

Sturdy, fits well under a desk or next to a toilet. Regular 3 or 5-gallon trash bags work in it, or you can use a plastic bag. Pretty sturdy with thick walls. You can flip it over and stand on it if you want. True to color and a good little bin for the price point

This trash can might not be glamorous, but it gets the job done perfectly. The design is simple and clean, the lid opens smoothly, and it holds more than you’d expect without taking up much space. I have used plenty of trash cans before, but this one feels like it will last a long time without any weird squeaks or jams. A basic done brilliantly — definitely worth the bin-vestment.
