Student Edition Interactive Worktext Grade 2 2017 (ScienceFusion)

I wish Houghton Mifflin Harcourt would include a better description of their products. We are homeschooling due to covid. Because we will likely re-enroll our kids in public school after the pandemic is resolved I wanted to follow the state standards. I took a gamble on this book not knowing if it would cover the material we needed. Luckily it includes what we need to teach (and then some). I have included pictures of the table of contents so you are able to make a well informed purchase for yourself. Outside of that, this workbook explains the lessons simply. I like to use it as a jumping off point and expand as I see fit. The state standards makes the material sound substantially more complicated than it really is so this book is helpful. ***MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE THE SCIENCE FUSION INQUIRY FLIPCHART TO GO WITH THIS ITEM!!!

I like how this books is set up especially for my 1st grader doing 2nd grade school work. What I don't like is how it came damaged and it doesn't seem to be a packing issue because the others came in good shape. I also ordered a grade 1 to finish the text book we had on magnets will use the beginning for my other son. I added pictures to show the damage but also to show how the book is set up. When I look at these I like to see the content and the set up and sometimes there are not enough pictures so you have to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did, hopefully this review helps others.

First and last unit has writing on it. Now even if i erase it my kid will see what was written and where the lines goes to right answer... dissapointed.
