Wow I've had my Dyson V7 Trigger for about 8 years, and I never realized there was an option to add the hepa filter to it. I recently replaced my OEM battery and found out that this hepa filter conversion kit was a thing. This is amazing! I thought only the V8 had a hepa filter. This conversion does not affect the suction, and the filter quality prevents dirty recycled air from blowing back into my face. The gray piece is color matched to the color of my dyson, and everything fit perfectly. It looks and feels like official replacement parts, even though I know it isn't. The pre and post filters seem durable enough to stand up to regular rinses and are cheap enough to actually throw away if they aren't performing any more. This hepa filter gave my v7 a second life!

It's alright.. can't really put it on there perfectly, seems like it's going to pop out, but all in all it was cheap and my vacuum works! I have the V7 animal version

I've been using a V7 for years and one of the reasons I upgraded was to go to a newer model that also offers post motor filtration. Obviously the V8 had it built in but I just found this and wish I had known someone was making these years ago. There are other companies but this one was the lowest priced and even says "Dyson" on the plastic part so I'm wondering if it's an actual Dyson part. Regardless it fits perfectly and looks exactly like it would on the V8. I was able to pop the old plastic exhaust piece off by pushing upward on it from the bottom with my thumbs so no prying was required (but it would probably depend on your hand strength.) The filter is also well made and has to be much better than the factory piece of foam that used to be on the end. Everything went together well and it does slightly reduce the loudness of the vacuum which is a benefit in addition to the extra filtration. Very happy with the result and I would highly recommend this one since it's the cheapest, as well made as an authentic Dyson part would be, and even includes a pre-motor filter as a bonus.

Works great, going to get a second set for second v7! Suction: Noticeable improvement even on low setting. Low setting was basically a weak floor sweeper before I upgraded to the hepa and new prefilter. Now it actually vacuums again. Filter replacement: Super easy, twist on and off. Value: Affordable upgrade. Smell: Doesn’t smell one way or the other lol It was super easy to install the hepa conversion. The hardest part is getting the v7’s existing backplate off but a flathead screwdriver or a butter knife will get you there. Overall very pleased, it made a big difference for not a lot of money and I’m glad I’m not spewing fine dust into the air anymore. Highly recommend and already ordered another set for my other Dyson.

I got this for my V8 and it works and fits perfectly. Everything matches exactly like the original, but for a fraction of the price. This is the second Dyson replacement part I am getting on Amazon. I’m thrilled with these finds and won’t be buying replacement parts directly from Dyson anymore.
