Great book to prep with. So disappointed in this product though. The online license with the publisher only lasts a year. So if you want to be able to use this material again, for example to prepare for your SPHR after passing your PHR, you are going to have to buy another book because the online license for the test question bank only lasts a year. Sandra Reed though is the best in her field.

I really love this book. It was my first time taking the PHR and had no idea about how it was going to be. This books gave me the right expectations as well as great tips to prepare for the exam.Important: This book won’t replace any study guide as it’s not created to teach or review each topic included in the exam.

I wish I never got this book. It is written for high schoolers and is all fluff. If you never took any test in your entire life, than this is the book for you. If you even took a pop quiz, this is not the book for you. This will not help at all. There are questions in the back, and I will see if it will be useful. I found it a big let down on my study and journey to getting this test passed. I would never ever recommend anyone ever read this book ever.

The suggestions can help point you in the right direction for techniques to focus on and how to understand the exam and questions stucture.

Sandra has done it again.. I love this book.. good material. I'm studying for both tests and they are kicking my butt :). But she is the epitome of the HR exams. love it
