Captain America: Truth

Captain America has hit an all time high recently with the great Ed Brubaker series and books such as Theater Of War and the The Chosen. Its easy to forget some of the other greap cap stories, The Truth is a novel that easily matches all of these and deserves great recognition for what it is. This is the story of the experimentation that was undergone to find the super soldier serum and it makes sober reading giving the whole story a dark element that gives the legend true depth. Reading this there are highs a lot of lows but most of all plenty of thought provoking issues. Don't be fooled by the simplified art work this is truly Captain America at is best.If you like this look out for Young Avengers novels where you will see the grandson of the original cap the Patriot
