ComStar Copper Lock, No Heat Solder, 2 oz. Plastic Container

Took a while to finally get around to using this. Weather got nice enough to go out in the garage and play around with it. I cleaned the two surfaces that I wanted to bond and it worked exactly as they said. When I run out I will definitely buy more. I'm not using it for actual plumbing, it's as mounting frames and structures for electronic circuits that I build. It was firmly bonded within a couple of minutes and I was able to start polishing on the grinder.

Worked like iadvertised. I'd recommend this in a pinch. Works great for copper pipe that will be permanent. Not great for A/C copper as the pipe may need to be removed in future. I bought it for making decorative pieces and works wonderfully.

Had very good luck using this for capping off a copper pipe, also worked on couplers just remember if you have even the slightest bit of water touch this stuff game over as it “will” leak although with a little heat the fittings come right off. The best thing about this for me was using it to glue a chrome plated copper drain line to the inside of the main copper line, as those who know the chrome plated copper is slightly smaller in diameter than the inside diameter of the standard copper pipe, once all of the connections are made I simply drip copper lock in the small gap between the two pipes, tried it first with 2 scrap pieces to make sure it works as I do not want sewer vent gasses coming into the house, honey what’s that smell!

had a copper pipe with a leak at a joint in a tight space inside wall in order to get a flame and solder a part of the wall would have to be removed saw this product and gave it a try coated one end of the pipe and installed back into joint gave it a half twist It WORKED a bill of 500 dollars went down to 15 dollars

Worked great for a out door faucet replacement.
