Ram® Large Cat Scratching Post Cat Tree Post Tree 40cm Brown

I didn't realize our tiny Siamese-mix kitten was going to grow into a 15-lb., 28" long (not counting tail, and still growing) cat. Most standard scratching posts top out at about 30". We realized this wasn't going to be enough to let the big guy stretch properly when he started going after the backs of the 35" high counter-height dining chairs and sofa. This scratching post has been the salvation of our furniture. Not only is it tall enough, this heavy-duty post is sturdy enough that the heavy-duty cat can get a running start and go for a good climb. Both of our cats seem to enjoy using it daily, and the rope isn't showing noticable wear yet. Assembly was very simple, with only four parts to screw together, no special tools required. The base is just large enough to give it decent stability. I can see the post rock a little when the cat is particularly aggressive, but it won't overturn and the cat certainly isn't deterred from climbing to the top. As cat furniture goes, it's about averagely attractive - I could wish for more colors or darker rope, but this is the only post I could find that was both long enough and reasonably priced, short of investing in the equipment to make my own.

Only buy when on offer approx £10 Great Value then. I do swap out the base for a larger one as I found it kept tipping over unfortunately. Yes, very easy to assemble. My large cats love the scratch-ability, they’re on their fourth one. They don’t bother with the stretchy fluffy ball at all but they’re not kittens anymore. Well it definitely saves my cloth covered sofas and my cloth covered utility boxes

This is the third one of these I have bought over the last couple of years. It arrives in a few pieces but is very simple to put together and the elements of the scratching post are all high quality. This makes for really good value for money because this is very stable for use with 5 cats (!) It is medium weight and looks very neat. My cats use it a lot and it is still stable and working well. My only reservation is that it is a little bit small in height for some of my larger tom cats. They don't use this as much as my smaller cats do and this can affect their health and need to scratch in the rest of the house!

We've had this a year and it has stood up well to one male cat from kitten to young adult. Our cat Nero scratches on it and plays with the ball regularly and does not scratch the furniture ever. I would consider getting a bigger one now that the cat has become stronger and very lively, bounding around with much force these days. Easy to assemble, sturdiness indeed and the cat loves it.

Its good quality and dos what it should, describing it as large is a stretch though!

Good product, good price, good seller

This is small - so would be for cat until roughly 6months size. Using at the moment for kittens training ( 4 weeks ) although mum does still like to stretch her paws on it also . Doesn't take up much space and is easily out together . If your looking for something big then this isn't for you but if your looking for something to tied you over then this is the one especially for price point .

Non è molto alto (ma l'annuncio riporta chiaramente la dimensione), sembra stabile, lo abbiamo ricevuto e iniziato ad utilizzare da pochi giorni, mi riservo nel caso di aggiornare la recensione, perché a differenza di altri di marche più conosciute, è la prima volta che acquistiamo questo tipo. A differenza di altri in nostro possesso, la base non è in corda graffiabile, ma in morbido vellutino. Nel complesso ci riteniamo soddisfatti, soprattutto considerando un'ottima relazione qualità - prezzo del prodotto. Penso sia il tiragraffi più economico che abbia acquistato fino ad ora.
