I Can’t really make any comment because I bought it for my son for Christmas but I am sure he was pleased with the book he asked me to buy for a Christmas present

I got this for my Jaws obsessed husband for am Xmas gift. He is going to love it. It is super cute.

Bought for teacher and they loved it

This book, by one of the writers and actors in the movie, Carl Gottlieb, chronicles the making of the movie JAWS. Actor, John Krasinski recommended the book in an article that touted his favorite books. He described it as an masterclass in movie production. I agree. It documents the movie-making process of Jaws, on the ground - the writers, actors, locations, mistakes, fun, and issues - in short, the creative process. Gottlieb also covers HOW movies go from a best-selling book as in the case of Jaws to a movie with all the corporate gyrations that go with that process. I particularly enjoyed the descriptions of the editing process and Gottlieb’s praise for a story editor gal who was with them on location in Martha’s Vineyard and editing the script day by day based on the prior day shoots.
