Works great on my pontoon boat after sitting in the lake all summer! Definitely work from bottom up to help with streaking. Easy to use, let sit sit then rinse off. It left mine milky white bit with a little buffing looks brand new.

Amazon product description and instructions - state "EASY TO USE - Simply mix 1 part cleaner to 4 parts water, apply to surface..." Going to the MANUFACTURER - they state 1:15. Which for a 32 oz spray bottle is 2oz's with 30oz's of water. Which is what I mixed it at. 1:15 Sprayed on; left a minute - briefly used a brass brush; rinsed with clean water. Cleaned the metal quite well. No complaints. This was a small engine water port part (fixing a Kia; installing a Cylinder head). After the C head is installed - I am going to spray onto the Block - leave it for a couple of minutes - then Pressure wash rinse with clean water. Not going to use a wire brush. From my limited experience with this product - I expect that procedure will work fine. I STRONGLY recommend not to mix at 1:4!! From my and manufacturers recommended 1:15; 1:4 is going to cause problems. The descript also states it is fine for ALL Aluminum. Nope. Not Polished; and not Anodized. So if your aluminum wheels are POLISHED - it is not recommended. Also - do NOT let it DRY on the Aluminum surface - and be sure to RINSE off - with clean water.

used this on a pontoon that had been sitting in a muddy lake for years, made the tubes look new again. Very easy to use, just spray on with a weed sprayer making sure not to get it in the air, let it sit for a minute, do a light wipe with a rag and spray off. Pretty amazing stuff. It will start to burn your skin if it sits on there for a minute so be careful. We polish after so it doesn't have that sort of raw new metal look

My trailer hasn’t been cleaned properly for a couple years. Last time it was I wasn’t happy with the outcome from a semi truck wash place. The problem is always the aluminum bottom streaking not getting a good coverage and looking milky….so….I did it myself with this product! I mixed according to directions, sprayed in with my pump up sprayer, let it foam up and turn milky and then power washed it off to rinse. I ended up covering it a second time to make sure it covered well. It did a fantastic job. Rinsed well and SO shiny. Easy to apply, very minimal streaking. It looks SO nice. This is before using an aluminum polish and buffing. That left it shining like chrome!

Good for cleaning pontoons

This is the best toon cleaner I have ever used tried several brands and for me this one is #1. I just use a pump up sprayer and spray on toons on our Tri-toon just in 5' section starting at the bottom up and then spray off with the pressure washer if there is a stubborn area just go back with scrub brush and then rinse area again

Bought a used pontoon with normal darkening and some heavy scaling oxidation on pontoons. Mixed it 4:1. Works ok on light oxidation. Had to apply a couple of coats to darkened areas and quickly spread out on section with a sponge to prevent streaking. Did a 3 foot section at a time spraying on with a Hudson sprayer. Wear heavy duty rubber gloves and a mask with respirator and eye protection! I think I was expecting too much on the heavy oxidation. I had to use an orbital sander on these areas.

Worked really well, I started at the 15 to 1 as recommended, and slowly strengthened it until it worked a bit faster. Be patient, keep it wet, and rinse thoroughly. It smells like muriatic acid to me.

Bought for my pontoon boat. Toilet bowl cleaner works better. Gave some to my neighbour and he had the same result. I have 3/4 of a bottle left if anyones interested
