not good for döner slicing
I purchased this to slice doener meat. I am slicing frozen doener meat and the meat is sticking on every slice in the device, essentially forcing you to take the slices out by hand. It has no mechanism to drop or catch the slices without manual intervention, which makes the device useless.

Great machine
Expect to use it for 2 months . They all go bad after 60 days. Always buy backup machines. They save on meat and time. Win win situation . Addiotnally, the sandwich or wrap tastes better since the meat is thinly sliced.

The Best!
This shaver is the best one we have ever purchased ( around 20 in past 3 years) this one is so sharp and powerful it can cut a gyro cone raw in a smooth thin strip. I highly recommend this shaver for gyro cones.
