This bag is exactly what I was looking for. I am transitioning from full-time barista and student to full-time electrical engineer and I wanted a backpack that I could take with me to work that fit my belongings that wasn't my torn school bag. I typically carry a lot of tech, and I was looking for a bag that I could fit two computers in. I am able to fit two computers, one 17 inch pc, and one macbook air, as well as my ipad air, and expandable file folder, notebook a bag that has various charging cords and my calculator, a pencil bag, an umbrella, a makeup bag, a sweater, basic toiletries, my water bottle (32 oz hydroflask), my over the ear headphones, and some snacks in that bag and it still doesn't feel overstuffed. The straps seem to be of good quality, and I love that it has a carry-loop and a trolly strap. I don't utilize all of the pockets because I am more of a "small bags in big bags" kind of person, but this bag has a lot of pockets that you can use a lot of different, versatile, ways (though, I do love how deep the smallest front pocket is. I can fit my keys and sunglasses in there no problem). I use the RFID pocket for my wallet and work badge. and am so thankful it keeps those things secure. The main pocket is much more spacious than I had previously anticipated. I was worried this backpack would be too small, but its actually perfect. The charging port is nice, though, thats a feature that I don't often use in backpacks. I think its a little oddly placed. I haven't yet used it for travel though, so I may feel differently about it then. Anyway, I am picky about bags, and this passes my tests, and its about a quarter of the price and bigger than any of the other bags I was looking at. You should totally get it!

Oct 2025: It’s officially been a year and I am still absolutely loving this backpack! It’s been with me on multiple staycations, bachelorette, work trips, etc. it’s holding up really nicely with no visible damage (even after going through the airport and under the seat). I don’t see any fraying or anything like that. Still just as comfortable as the first day I bought it. Packs so much without looking bulky yet still comfortable on your shoulders. Still highly recommend! Original: I've been eyeing this backpack for a while now and a few days before my travel, I decided to finally purchase it. I had another black backpack but it. did not separate the laptop from the rest of the bigger items and that was I was looking for. Here is what I was looking for in my backpack: black, waterproof/resistant, comfortable shoulder straps, water bottle holders on the sides, plenty of pockets, separate laptop compartment. This backpack has it all! I went on a 10 day trip that was both work and personal time and this backpack did great! I took my work laptop (16" in a laptop cover case) and fit nicely in the compartment. It has sooo many pockets for whatever your heart desires! I was able to fit all of my smaller items and nicknacks in here including hairbrush, all go my toiletries, jewelry case, all of the souvenirs I purchased and still sooo much room for more. The backpack felt great and not heavy at all. The other backpack I had killed my back after a few minutes and this one is pretty comfortable for hours. As others have said, the zipper in the front smaller pocket does get stuck because of the lining but it's not bothersome. Also if you use the laptop compartment and pack the backpack pretty full, the luggage strap is hard to get over your carry on handle. I was not able to use it at all but it didn't matter as the backpack was able to stand up on its own with the shoulder strap over the handle. Really happy with this purchase and plan to use it for more travel coming up in October!

Love this backpack! Lots of room and several pockets, and great price! I’ve spent way more on a backpack and not liked it nearly as much as this one. Also really cute. Looks way more expensive than it is!

Tl;dr: this bag has seemingly epic capacity and, even with overpacking and using during intermittent light rain and mist for several hours, I experienced no issues. It’s a win! Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because, like others, I feel that the straps are a little to close together and can rub uncomfortably. That said, if you have a clothing buffer between you and the straps on your shoulders, you’ll probably be fine. I bought this at the last minute when I had second thoughts about bringing my leather convertible laptop tote on a work trip to Canada during a wet stretch. So, I was concerned about water damage/issues, capacity, and ease of use as a “personal item.” It passed with flying colors. I had this baby packed to the gills. Thankfully, the interior is light, with good slip, and there are various pockets, including dedicated and padded laptop sleeve (with slip pockets for my notebook, etc) and (my favorite) back panel security zippered pocket that is sizable and fit my phone or my e-reader with no issues. I could use the front most full pocket, during boarding, to fit my entire crossbody purse in it! I had toiletries bag for security, laptop, a5 notebook for work, a6 hobonichi notebook in cover for me, fabric bag for chargers, pens, work cables, bulky cardigan, long sleeve shirt folded, two other charger cables wrapped up, water bottle, glasses case, kobo libra 2 and a floppy felt hat rolled up all in there….plus my entire crossbody bag for boarding when the time came. Amazing. It even has a pass through strap which worked well…but honestly, this baby was on my back a ton. I like to wear my backpacks high on my back to sit flush and reduce strain. I was able to do so with no problem with this, and didn’t really experience slippage. Plus, when we did a beach cleanup, I brought a change of clothes and afterwards packed up my dandy, heavy, big blundstones in a laundry bag, my pants, t-shirt, light jacket and ball cap and proceeded to happily walk literally hours/at least 5 miles throughout the misty, wet city. Nothing got wet (save my back, I may have run to catch a train…) and the bag shows no wear. When I returned, I decided this is my new work bag. I can fit my laptop, plus lunch (I use the glass square or smaller rectangular Pyrex snap lid containers), my coffee and glasses case accessibly on the side, my gym clothes and even sneakers if needed…all inside the backpack! I am 5’3” on a generous day and, while a little on the tall side for me, it still sat well and comfortably. I wouldn’t buy taller than this bag for sure. This thing might not be a small as Mary Poppins’ purse, but I feel like it has similar skills.

Love this bag. It holds a lot. Change of clothes, make up bag (small), pen pouch, day planner, laptop and charger. There are enough pockets inside and out for anything or everything.I just take to work and back home. It holds my owala well. I wouldnt try with a stanely because it can/will spill on out. Overall, I’ve had it for two weeks. No tears, frays, or problems.

I have to say this is the best travel backpack ever! It has so many compartments. Room for an iPad or computer a water bottle holder that’s not tiny and a very sleek design.
