10 Yards Gimp Braid Trim with Elastic Button Loop

I bought this button trim to use for lengthing a curtain. The curtains didn't need a longer hem, but I put beads to weigh the curtains to the floor. The curtain hem doesn't get dirty because it was fabric & dusting the floor. Wasn't sure if it was going to work, but loops did a good job of weighing the curtains down, spaced the beads evenly & is nice. As usual for me, it's a different way, but the button trim has lots of uses!

I used this for my daughters bridal gown. It was too low in back for her and she wanted something added to cover her back. I used this trim to fasten it with pearl flower buttons! It was beautiful!

I used it on my granddaughter’s Christmas dress. My sewing machine was in the shop and I couldn’t make buttonholes. Amazon saved the day!

This is a must have in the sewing room. I needed to fasten something and didn’t want to make my own button loops- this is absolutely a time saver! The one thing I’m not completely sold on is the spacing. The loops are close, which doesn’t work for everything. I found that if I cut off every other loop, then zig zag stitched over the tape, it secured the elastic loops again and allowed me some adjustment

Seem to be well made. Haven't used it yet.

This is my first time using button loop trim so maybe it's user error...but I find that whenever I cut off a set of loops, the ones at the end unravel immediately. I need to sew in the ends to make sure it doesn't keep unraveling. I ended up wasting a lot of time and product because it kept unraveling

Much easier than making buttonholes. Ordered some in white too.
