Decent quality and bright projector
Seen some previous reviews saying the projection isn’t bright but this is simply not true! Works amazing in a dark room and the negative display is great during the day. German made so high quality, should last a long time. Only downside is no radio-time sync capability or forecasting features.

The Electronic version of shrinkflation
So let me frame this in that I owned a version of this clock previously and managed to literally blow it up during electrical work. It was a great clock. So we didn’t hesitate to but what we thought was the same clock - but it’s not. One reviewer already mentioned that it was advertised as radio controlled (time auto update) but actually isn’t. And the reason it was advertised like that is because it used to be. The version before was. That function has been stripped off, dumbing down the clock. Another reviewer mentions not being able to turn the projector on and off - guess what, you used to be able to. You could wave your hand over it and it would turn on and off. They’ve removed that. Dumbing down the clock. So as far as I’m concerned this is the electronic version of shrinkflation, removing interesting abilities but keeping the same look and price. It’s still a decent clock, it projects well, it is light and falls over easily if you don’t have batteries in (you have to have the wire attached if you want to project and have the led screen on) - I’ve put in dead batteries for weight. So it gets 3 stars for being dumber than the previous version. It’s still looks good as you’d expect from a Brain clock. I just wish they hadn’t hoped we wouldn’t notice the changes.

Good clock aid
For someone with age related neck stiffness I found this clock a boon, being able to tell the time just by glancing at the ceiling compared to the discomfort caused by having to turn my head to look at the clock.

Good looking clock, time projection works perfectly.
This is a very stylish looking little clock, not the cheapest, but hopefully that's reflected in it's lifespan. It's easy to set up and use, and the projector throws a perfectly clear time onto the roof, can even read it at night without my glasses. Would be a 5 star review if not for a few little niggles. It's very light weight, even more so without batteries inside. Which means it's easy to knock over at night when your checking the time, or switching off the alarm. Might end up sticking it down with double sided tape, some dead weight in the bottom or a wider base would have easily solved the problem, for very little extra cost. Also I have the projection set to only work when you press the button on top of the clock, otherwise it lights up the whole room. But this also makes the main display come on at full brightness, it's like a massive spotlight in a dark room. The whole point of the projection is to quickly check the time without waking any one else up, I'm sure it could wake up people in the next street, it's so bright. I've read and reread the instructions and this is how it's meant to work, unbelievable. Who wants this to happen, and also be unable to switch it off. I swear that designers never actually use the products they make, and never listen to any negative feedback. I've ended up putting a book in front of it to cover up the front, does the job but also completely hides a stylish looking clock. So over all, good, but could be much better with a little more thought at the design stage.

No complaints but description is incorrect
The clock looks good and is easy to set up. However, the description states that batteries are required for it to function - THEY AREN'T. The clock works perfectly with just the included power adapter. The description also states that the projection and backlight only work with the power adaptor - also incorrect as these both work perfectly WITH JUST THE BATTERIES.

Doesn’t keep good time
It’s a stylish clock. However, the minimum brightness is quite bright, unless you switch the backlight off completely, in which case the clock can’t be read at night. The projection on the ceiling is a nice gimmick, but if you wear glasses you probably won’t be able to read it when you’re in bed. And the clock runs fast, gaining minutes surprisingly quickly, so it needs frequent adjusting.
