LOVE LOVE LOVE. simple, elegant, very well made. Addendum: I own set three sets now and have had two sets replaced as two sets each had a shattered dish in them.. So five shipments in all. Two of the five shipments arrived intact. Three did not. This latest one has a dish with a large chip in it. I have not sent it back as frankly, the odds are not great that i'll get a whole set next time either. It's a pity because the dinnerware is beautiful. So, five stars for the item, two stars for the condition upon arrival and five stars for customer service at Amazon.

This is the perfect every day set - slim design for cabinet and dishwasher - but, heavy enough to hold up to serve hearty meals to boys. The simple, attractive design lets the food take center stage. Love that the pieces can be heated to 220F to keep food warm that rapidly cools on a cold plate. I haven't had the set long enough to see utensil marks, but the information sheet that was included in the package states how to remove these marks should they occur. A bit expensive for everyday use, but I think they are a good value considering the quality.

High quality all-round set, love it. You can also buy additional large pasta bowls direct from the Royal Doulton site - delivered in 5 days to NYC. Durable, easy to clean, look like a high end restaurant settings. Not a mark after about 3 months daily use.

these dishes are really nice, I gave them as a gift,But one bowl was broken, and no time to return them, I would be a buyer beware, as I am not the only one to have this happen.

These are simply great. Simple white porcelain with a curved edge. They are appropriately sized, somewhat refined, nice weight, and look great. All said their refined simplicity is a great presentation for our family’s daily kitchen creations. Being porcelain, they will show marks from utensils over time that are easily removed periodically with cleansers made for porcelain. I haven’t experienced unusual breakage over the many years of ownership. However, like all dishes they are breakable and dropping or knocking against a hard surface can break or chip them. Fortunately replacement singles are pretty easy to find as well as full sets.

I ordered this item off a gift registry at the end of May the shower was not until Saturday July 22rd. When the bride to be open the box she discovered that there were several broken pieces. Unfortunately the date to return the dishes was July 3rd. $170 down the drain just because I bought the gift as soon as I got the invitation. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Pretty set if you can get it intact.

These plates and bowls look amazing. It came in it's own box which was then put into a larger box with a lot of empty space for it to get thrown about inside and the box itself came nearly crushed, luckily the actual box of dishware was spared... In terms of durability, Haven't dropped it or anything yet, but they seem sturdy enough to get clanked on on top of a dish rack. However, if you are the type that likes to use a lot of force when cutting something tough, do not do it on this plate, it will actually leave a mark if you go too ham.

A little expensive but very good quality

This dinnerware set is exactly what I was looking for. Good sizes, not too heavy but solid, fit in my dishwasher and stack well in my cupboard. I'll never get tired of the look

Habe das Geschirr angelockt vom Design gekauft. Bei dem verhältnismäßig hohen Preis, habe ich angenommen Porzellan zu kaufen. Meine Naivität wurde bestraft - Steingut. Ich empfinde das Geschirr als ein wenig gräulicher als abgebildet, nutze es täglich und bin damit mittelmäßig zufrieden. Ärgernis zum Start: Bei der Anlieferung war ein Teller kaputt. Hier könnte man bei der Verpackung durchaus ein wenig mehr investieren. Gebrauchstest: Nach bald zwei Jahren zeigen sich doch recht viele Gebrauchsspuren und ich malträtiere das Geschirr nicht mit rauen Schwammseiten oder ähnlichem. Nervig ist auch - Stichwort naiver Käufer, dass die "Suppenteller" nicht so recht platzsparend in die Spülmaschnie passen. Dafür kann natürlich das Geschirr nicht viel, sondern der Käufer. Vor allem aufgrund der Schwächen im Material würde ich diesen Kauf bei dem gegeben Preis nicht noch einmal tätigen.

El borde gris pintado en los platos grandes y pequeños es irregular. En algunos platos es más grueso que en otros. Incluso en un mismo plato, hay irregularidades. Tratándose de una vajilla avalada por Gordon Ramsay (está su foto en la caja), me esperaba que fuera de altísima calidad, pero como puede verse en la foto que adjunto, estamos ante una vajilla "made in china" (lo pone en un lado de la caja, y en tamaño mini por supuesto) que deja mucho que desear. ¡Devuelta!

I love this range, but the box arrived with one broken dinner plate and one broken bowl. I found it difficult to locate any facility on Amazon for reporting this other than making a return, but eventually found a call back option. The matter was dealt with extremely promptly and I received an entire new set as a replacement. One delighted customer!
