For many years I have been growing chillies specifcally to make chilli Jam and paste. This paste has now left me with a dilemma. Given that it is everything I have been trying to achieve, what is the point in me growing chillies anymore? Anyway - For me it has the perfect balance of smoky and spicy. I like things on the spicier side and am often disappointed with many products. This has a kick but does not blow your head off and settles to a lovely smoky taste. I use it directly in sandwiches and wraps but have also tried it in a chili Con Carnie and fajitas and it has worked wonderfully. They also send you an electronic recipe book which is a nice touch. Personally I cannot fault it which is why I bought this 3 pack after having bought a single to try it.

Lovely smokey Mexican flavour! Adds a real wallop to any dish and its very versatile, i found it best in Spanish chicken, two good tea spoons for a bit heat followed by some sweet paprika! Beautiful! This brand is new to me but has impressed me very much with buying these! Defo recommend! Give your dish a "Wollop" with this spice mix, put a bit bang in your frying fan😂👌

Works great with for a chilli Colorado sauce or for an enchilada sauce. Add it to your stock. Add tomato paste, garlic, cumin,coriander, crushed pepper, and cayenne ( if you like it with a kick) Add onion and ortega chilli's ( bell peppers work in a pinch) . It's great in mince . Or chicken thighs. Stew meat works as well. Simmer till it cooks down. Or the fluid reduces until its thick. Makes great burritos or tacos. I make a Tamale pie with it. Or, you can layer in tortillas and cheese and make a Mexican lasagne🙂

I have tried many different brands, but always come back to gran luchito. It has the best natural smoky flavour and the right amount of heat. I use it in everything.....chillis, stews, added to mayo, use to make marinade with olive oil. Very versatile!

I love the flavour of chipotle chilli, this paste is so rich. A little goes a long way, and tastes best on chicken. I had to get the 3 pack from here because buying them from the supermarket is much more expensive. Thank you seller, for also sending me the online cookbook by email, I can’t wait to try them.

Love the paste. Price is more than double. Ordered 9 small jars. Arrived from Mexico with 4 jar lids loose and one had leaked all over the inside of the package. I put all of the jars with loose lids in the fridge.

i read about this and wanted to try it just bc I like supporting small operations and also bc it went across an ocean (UK) before becoming available in the US when it's from Mexico (if I'm not mistaken). So far I really like it. It's not an obnoxious heat out of the gate that just burns out any other flavors although it does pack some heat. It's got more dimension and an authentic smoky side and has been really fun to try in different ways. The owner emailed me which tickles me so try it. I got the 3 pack and it made each jar very reasonably priced and perfect for sharing w your foodie friends. It's kind of like one of those gems you find in a strange gas station market and love and can never find again. But you can!

I was enticed to purchase this product via Instagram photos. The recipe using the Gran Luchito Chilli Honey paste looked amazing, so I ordered both the Chilli Honey and the Smoked Chilli. This review is ONLY for the Chilli Honey paste. Upon opening the jar I was surprised to find that it did not smell very strongly of either chili or honey, but I felt the taste would be the true test. My family appreciates bold, spicy flavors so they had been waiting to try this paste for so.easy time. It was extremely thick strain get out of the jar, so I found it necessary to warm it in the microwave and thin with olive oil. It had to be hot to blend together.In the overnight it caramelized nicely on the boneless and skinless chicken. I applied to twice, as it was thinned quite a bit. We were not impressed with the floor, or lack of flavor. Little seasoning, no sweetness, no heat. I guess I could have not added the oil, but it did not come off the spoon. My issues with the product would be that the label gives virtually NO instructions for using it. It does give some ideas for cooking ideas, such as a glaze, adding it to scrambled eggs. I don't know how you could. Straight out of the jar, it is one congealed lump. I was highly disappointed.

I use this as a base for my Chili and for my spicy turkeys that I cook for Thanksgiving and throughout the year. I never have leftovers.
