Only Buying ADC From Now On
After owning a Littmann Classic II for 2-3 years the tubing became very rigid. I put it in storage for 2 and 1/2 years and recently brought it out again to use it. I noticed large cracks in the tubing nearly rendering the stethoscope useless. After consulting with Littmann I found out that it would cost nearly as much to send in my stethoscope and have the tubing replaced as it would cost to buy a new stethoscope ($60 vs $80). I remembered using an ADC when I was in nursing school and thinking that the quality was exceptional. The one that I had used previously was an ADC cardiology model of some type. I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a new stethoscope however and just needed a basic one so I decided to give the ADC Adscope 603 Clinician Stethoscope a chance. At $35 it was easy to justify giving it a chance. I have to say that I am very satisfied with this stethoscope. It is as good of quality, if not better than a Littmann Classic and the sound quality is far superior to any Littmann Classic that I have used. it also has slightly longer tubing than a Littmann Classic which helps you keep your distance from patients who have unpleasant smells. After buying this ADC stethoscope I will never go back to Littmann. The price and quality are exceptional for this ADC stethoscope and every other ADC stethoscope that I have used.

Great Stethoscope!
This stethoscope 🩺 is great! I can hear great with it and the price helps since I am in nursing school. I have had a lot of people say they are comparable if not better than Littmanns.

Best Scope: Budget/Quality/Function
I want to give this thing five stars but I still have to try it on patients first. However, for testing it on myself and my cat/dog it works great and can hear heartbeats quite well. Very loud and crisp sounds. I found out that my ear wax blocked off the sound so I had to adjust my head in a different way so I could get better acuity. So if anything, make sure you wars are wax free haha. But this is a great price and sounds quite good compared to the scopes I used in EMT School. For $35 I would buy this again and probably will. I never owned a Littman so I can’t compare the two, but I assume this scope will handle the job just fine since I am not planning on picking up the subtlest of noises as a nursing student. If your in college I highly recommend this option, it feels like it’s high quality and functions very well.

Vet tech in search of an upgrade 🐾 🩺
I’ve had a MDF stethoscope for a while now but I was looking for an upgrade. With my mdf, the background noise wasn’t cancelled out. So working at an animal hospital, trying to get vitals and listen closely to our patients is key! So far, I tested it out on myself and my pup! Liking this so far! 1. Quality of sound is so much better and clear!!!! 2. Seems durable and light weight I did notice a difference in the chest piece, chest piece is heavier than the MDF chest piece. Will update review in a month or so after trying it out on patients!!!

Had to get a quick replacement for my Littmann
MS4 here, I had to replace a Littmann Cardiology III which walked off at my hospital. I didn't want to spend $170 bucks again until I was making some M.D. money and could get it customized. So I got this to bridge the gap. While I didn't think my inexperienced ears could pick up an S2 split in the Littmann, I could at least make out clear murmurs. With the ADC, It was pretty much, "Yup...you have a heartbeat." In obese patients, I could barely make out S1/S2. Over clothes, it was I could hardly hear anything. I'd have to readjust the ear pieces and jam it into my ears frequently to get moderate quality sound. For the money - it was okay. I'd recommend it for nurses or EMTs, anyone who just needs the basics and/or might lose it on the job. But if you're trying to pick up a small regurge or prolapsed valve, this won't cut it. I don't know why...it's just metal and a rubber tube... but the cost increase of the Littmann really did equate to better sound quality.
