Very simple build. Translucent green dome and side windows beg for some sort of lighting effect. Total parts: 21

Seriously. The model--theoretically 1/72-scale, like there's anything on it to show this--has a grand total of 12 parts, spread across two very small sprues and the upper and lower hulls of the saucer. And the parts count _used_ goes down if you don't build it sitting on its landing gear. It's kind of a bulky, no-nonsense 1/72-scale, like Pegasus' other fun SF kit the Apollo 27. Ordered the first one to have a Martian saucer. My notes indicate that I'm going to build an interior of the ship for that particular purpose (the model is cavernously empty). I have clear resin to make non-sickening-green recasts of the rim windows and dorsal light-or-viewport-or-whatever-it-is. Past that, I haven't gotten very far. This one was my second, and it was purchased for a kitbash I'm working on (needed some angular round hull to add to a huge styrofoam "engine shroud"). As long as you haven't much to do with it, or have plenty on-hand to do to it, it's a good little model to find. Like the A27, you can customize the heck out of it, and if you're going to build it, you'd better. Otherwise it's almost _too_ simple. It's the purposeless models that are the most fun to make your own. Enjoy this one. :)

This is a simple yet detailed kit of an extraterrestrial craft that may or may not exist under government wraps at Nevada's Area 51. It consists of two hull halves, four landing gear, Eight gear doors (for your choice of gear up or gear down) and four viewport and dome molded in translucent green. Once you paint it either in simple metallic Grey, or follow the detailed painting guide, it goes together quickly in about an hour. As I mentioned, the ship's dome and viewports are molded in translucent green making it easy to light your model. As I plan to have mine part of a diorama showing it landed in a wooded clearing, I'm currently in the process of making or trying to find a circuit that would make the light pulse slowly representing internal systems running on standby. If I have any complaints with the kit, it's the failure to include any figures of aliens to display with it, perhaps in the process of abducting some hapless earthlings

Ok I just got this and I must say I'm very happy with it, even though it doesn't have an interior. When I first saw the package,I noticed a long cut in the wrapping and the item. No worries the item was not damaged. I highly recommend it for all sci Fi people. Just got it together simple as anything,next I'm going to add lights just for fun

It's a classic flying saucer with clean lines; nominally 1/72 scale, but with no interior or exterior detail to lock that scale in, you can imagine it being HO scale (1/87) or even 1/144 scale, etc. If they ever re-pop this kit, I would love to see it molded in glow-in-the-dark plastic; I'd throw my money at that in a heartbeat. Both 1/72 & HO scales feature figures you could adapt and add to create a landed diorama or (for those with the skill) you could scratch-build an interior & use figures to crew it.

J'ai acheté chez Dollarama, LED light , lumière Del étanche avec télécommande incluse, merveilleux comme effet, On dirait qu'elle était parfait pour cette petite maquette , Voilà , pour ma collection personnelle . Merci Amazon ,Ha Oui ne pas collé le top de la soucoupe, plutard vous devriez changer les batteries à l'intérieur .

es gibt eigentlich nur einen positiven Fakt: die Scheibe hängt nicht an irgendwelchen Anspritzstegen, dafür passen weder Ladebeine noch Abdeckungen der Schächte. Die Kanzel und die Luken sind in Giftgrün und bedürfen massiver Nacharbeit, Dekals : Fehlanzeige, Farbgebung: grottige Vorschläge. Das beste ist der beiliegende erklärende Texte, der direkt aus Hangar one zu stammen scheint- sehr interessant. Aufgrund des Preises und der Aussführungsmängel ein echter Problemfall. Die Lieferung dauert ewig (China- USA-Deutschland?)

Per gli appassionati del genere sci-fi questo modello è l'ideale per una costruzione veloce e piacevole. Stampato in solo 21 parti da assemblare di cui 5 trasparenti per la sezione superiore, ha un minimo di segni di estrattori in alcune parti, i carrelli di atterraggio sono stampati in un pezzo unico e sono 4, la sezione disco è divisa in 2, uno sopra e uno sotto. Si può rappresentare con i carrelli aperti oppure in volo con i pannelli chiusi. Inutile dire che un bel effetto led per chi vuole illuminarlo un po' sarebbe l'ideale. Lo consiglio agli scratchbuilder per rappresentarlo in un bel diorama.
