Great product! This works perfectly on my PS2, one thing that I did that somebody else mentioned is I didn't put it in until I was told to save by my PS1 game. This card needs to be formatted, and it will do that in the game. I would advise not to format initially using the PS2's menus, because some people have issues with it corrupting the memory card, since this is not the Official Sony PS1 Memory Card.

Works perfectly for saving PS1 games in a PS2 console. I did like other reviewers recommended: I DID NOT let my PS2 console format the card but I waited until it's time to save a PS1 game, inserted the memory card in the slot and chose "save". It then asked me to format the card and I said "yes". Having that done, I never had a problem with this card. Will order again!

Played my ps1 game on my ps2. Came to a save point. Let the PS1 format the card then attempt to save the game. Save attempt fails every time. "Save attempt failed, please try again". B.S. Others who left reviews have a slim ps2 like me and it works, so that is not the issue. I will be contacting the seller, as my card must be defective then. UPDATE!!! I was able to successfully save and load other ps1 games with no problems. The game i am having trouble saving to memory is Xenogears. It just will not save on this particular game for whatever reasons. For that, i will be changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Can`t give it 5 because some games don`t work with it.

it works! it works! there is a PlayStation God! yays! not that I was worried. I had used one in a ps2 before and it worked just fine. ;-) I know as fact they will not work in ps3. and if you have a ps2 slim it may not work. those things are horribly temperamental. emphasis on the mental (had one bomb on me after less than a year).

this was a good buy it save your games really fast actually it seamed to save games fast than on a regular memory card there are no downfalls and it is perfect for the price

Was going through my Box of PS1 Games and decided to replay a few on my PS2. But here is the rub you cant save the games on ps2 Memory cards. So i got this. seems to work for the moment BUT I was a Bit dismayed that they sent me a After Market PS1 Memory Card from a company I never heard of. it was not the SONY MEMORY card I was expecting. But it works so im not complaining. However if it should fail I will be contacting the Seller

This product is the Komodo Playstation 1 Memory Card 1MB . It did not hold saves past reboot in my (not slim) PS2. Some day, I will defeat (the first) Cyborg Ninja and have the saves (on my Sony brand memory card) to prove it.
