Staedtler Permanent Markers (STD313WP4A6), Pack of 4 pens

Use these almost everyday at work. Hands down the best markers.

Staedtler is always good

Excellent! Used for plastic protected map work. Easy to wipe off with eraser pen (Amazon) or hand sanitizer. Recommended by Gritty Soldier.

In my work, I use plastic Post-It flags for placing notes inside books as well as flagging pages. But ordinary felt pen ink can't stick to the slick surfaceof the post-its, and pencil or ball-point writing can smear or come off on the opposite page. It turns out that these Lumocolor pens are fantastic for writing on slick surfaces. The ink dries right away and the tip holds up really well. The colors are bright and dense. I use them all the time.

It works well to write on an acetate map covering.

I have been looking for a permanent marker that would write also on washi tapes (not only on photos or glossy paper/plastic) , highly pigmented (black = black, not grey), drying very fast and with a thin tip. These staedtler "lumina" markers are all of the above and they do not dry (I am using my black ones every day for monthes and they still write as if they were new). I tried the black Fine and Superfine (bought at Amazon) first then I bought these colored one that perform as well as the black one. I have tried many many kinds of permane nt markers and these are the best without question. I wish to add as additional information that while I serched for a marker with these characteristics I tried also the Pilot permanent for photographs (dont remeber the model number off hand) and these Pilot guys are as pigmented as the staedtler and have all of the above chracteristic, but the nib is only one size and thicker than that of the staedtler. Also when I bout them they were very diffuclt to find: if I remeber correctly I ordered them directly from Japan.

Easy to use. The fine points made adding detail to maps easy!

Great pens but initially got the wrong size, medium, and they flatten out so if you like a fine point, like me better to get the EXTRA fine as they are like a tip of a marker and flatten out when you use them. Otherwise great to use, I especially got them to mark on plastic because all the "permanent" markers are NOT on plastic. So far so good as I needed to categorize my sewing presser feet and I used these pens. If they start to wear off quickly will amend this product review, but for now loooove them.
