Can this be used for mixing shakes?

This mixer has exceeded expectations. I use it to mix protein shakes, froth milk for my coffee, etc. Works excellent..

How often do you have to change batteries?

I use it almost every morning and I got it months ago and haven’t had to change the batteries yet, I really like it! I’m getting one for my sister-in-law

Does it heat the milk?

No. As a personal preference I first heat the milk in the microwave for about a minute but the frother works great - cold or hot.

Can this be used with matcha?

Yes, I purchased this specifically for Matcha and it works quite well. I found that pouring a bit of water in with your Matcha and mixing well, then slowly add water as you continue to mix.
