Best grain free product for pancakes that I ever purchased and I’ve tried many

Gundry pancakes, as are all Gundry products, overpriced. They are however, very pleasant for a gluten-free, lectin-free product. The flavor is not as robust as say buckwheat, but is quite nice, and the banana flour creates the most moist pancakes I've ever made from a mix. This concoction is superior to any other gluten-free pancake mix that I have encountered.

It's really good adding the almond butter

The pancakes smelled good cooking and looked afterwards. The first pancake I believe I didn't cook long enough because it said to drop about 1/4 cup of batter, mines was more than that, and let cook about 2 minutes. I let cook until it was brown but it didn't rise but still I thought it would be fine. Husband said that it was slimy in the mouth when eating so on my pancake I let cook for about 4 minutes and it did rise and looked good. I did 4 minutes on each side and it still felt slimy in the mouth when eating it. We don't know if it's because it's plant based that it's like that or I need to cook even longer. They tasted good except for the slimy part when chewing it. It looked cooked and smelled yummy but can't take the slight slimy feeling. They were really expensive as well. We threw them out along with the pancake mix. Very expensive to experience that. If I cook it any longer the pancake would be black. Wasn't on high heat, medium and it cooked well for the 4 minutes and it did rise beautifully.

Th battered when mixed with a spoon was lumpy. Although, the pancakes were browned on the outside, inside they tasted uncooked. This can be an issue especially with eggs and salmonella if not thoroughly cooked.

My husband makes his own banana pancakes and now that he's gf I thought this was worth a try.. For the price, we'd hoped for fluffy cakes as pictured on the box. Flat and thin disappointment is the result. The recipe is ridiculous - 2/3 c mix, 2 eggs plus 2/3 c milk? Watery mess. Well keep looking for a better, budget friendly option.
