LOVE IT BUT HERE IS WHAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND....
This gun is awesome, I've had it since September. What I do not understand, however is why its is 70 bucks. I purchased this same item back in September for, no kidding, 27.99. I don't know why they raised it so high, but if you have the money any are considering this, I will tell you that this is a whole lot of fun to use! it is so fun to load but it isn't easy to load it fast, so it's kind of impractical. if your just shooting targets, or unarmed buddies, its great. to use in a full on war is slightly challenging though. Worth the buy if you want something cool and unique. got mine for 30 bucks though, so I don't understand. (27.99 but with tax of course)

Awesome Nerf Gun
First off, this gun is an amazing nerf gun. The range is excellent and the firepower of it is amazing! Pros: Has a nice range if not an excellent range. The power of the impact is amazing. (So I cut out 16 of the cardboard targets using the stencils and I set them all up. When I fired the gun BLAMMO!! About 13 targets flew into the air and this was just from one shot.) The whole reloading and unloading mechanism is fun. The ammo shells pop out so you can take them out with ease. Con: When you pull back the gun to unload it's a bit clunky.

Impractical, and yet still a ton of fun
As above, this blaster is far from the most practical around. Lacking either a revolving cylinder (like the Strongarm or Lawbringer) or the clip system (Retaliator, Rapidstrike), the Sledgefire elects for a very unique ammunition loading mechanism. The Strongarm utilizes a unique ammo shell that holds three Elite Darts (three shells and nine darts are included). To load it, you slide a switch on the back of the blaster until the barrel of the Strongarm pops down, mirroring a break-action shotgun. You then load the ammo shell into the barrel of the blaster and click the barrel back into place. This also primes the Sledgefire, meaning that all you need to do next is press the trigger. In terms of performance, the Sledgefire is actually surprisingly powerful and has decent range; the three darts it launches are also grouped together reasonably well, keeping the dart spread tight. Reloading is a breeze provided you have another ammo shell ready (the Sledgefire's stock can hold two additional loaded shells), though reloading a shell can be a bit time consuming. In general, this is a fun novelty blaster with decent performance that could actually be useful if your HvZ group utilizes multi-hit zombies or something similar. From a purely fun perspective, recommended!

This is an awesome Nerf gun
This is an awesome Nerf gun! it is bright cheery colors, shoot very well, and just overall looks cool. I bought this as a birthday present for a little boy, and the present was a huge hit. He was very happy to get to play with it. He's pretty rough with play toys, and it has held up well to play time, so I would say that the item is pretty sturdy. I would recommend this as a great idea for a birthday present.

It is ok, but the bullets do not go ...
It is ok, but the bullets do not go very far and I couldn't get it to fire at first. I had to make sure the bullets were pushed in tight and it only takes the bullets with the small plastic tips.. to reload also takes time.

One of the better Nerf guns
My son has way too many Nerf guns, but of the those he has this is one of the better ones. He has some Nerf guns that continue to jam often and as a result, he never used them. This one has multiple cartridges that contain 3 Nerf blaster bullets. This Nerf gun has so far consistently fired without jamming, and it can fire the bullet a good distance. For the price I think this is one of the better Nerf guns offered.

The coolest Nerf shotgun
I awoke on my thirteenth birthday. I was met by this. Amazed. The shotgun style of this is great! The only downside is that it takes some time to reload and only has three shells but I could care less. Worth the money!

What can I say? This NERF gun delighted my 11 yr old son when he received it as a birthday gift. My son has a lot of NERF guns (around 25) and they all vary in detail and power. The Zombie Strike however, is the most painful childhood toy I have ever come across. A nerf war is this beasts playground. 20 small chilren running around a sports hall firing nerf darts was a pleasure compared to this. When my son loaded it he aimed it at my left arm....then fired. His aim is perfect....my turning around to look at him however was not. My left tit got the full force. My tata went tata, the pain that went through my breast was unimaginable. I would rather breast feed a tiger than have that thing hit me again. My son however found it hilarious and reloaded. He gave me that sweet smile that only a son can give just before he lets lose a demon fart, and aimed. I ran. I ran out the building screaming in agony as my 11 yr old angel chased me and fired darts at my back, legs and arse, laughing in glee. Only when he ran out of ammo did he let up the onslaught. I snuck back into the hall and I cowered behind some boxes and prayed that he would aim for someone else. Anyone else but me! But no. He hits me again with it and I can no longer feel my fingers. I hunt around for a NERF gun but all I can find is a small measly 1 dart gun. I try but fail to conquer my son. Thankfully his dad saves me and removes the gun from play as too many children were begging for a go and willing to trade their souls for this gun. Later at home we had a look at the damage the Zombie had caused. Let me just say that my back, front and sides looked like our star consolation, The Milky Way. Stepping through a mine field of Lego, barefoot, at 3 am is a delightful experience compared to this beast of a gun. Imagine my delight when I am loading the washing machine and my son plants one of these hornet like darts on my backside. Or when I am watching a film and one of these darts come flying at my legs, the shock from suck a force rivals childbirth. I would advise parents to wear Kevlar body suits with extra padding for your "sensitive" areas.... at all times. All in all I hate this gun but my son loves it.

Brilliant blaster! It has fun break open blasting that is sure to satisfy! Shoot 3, 2 , or 1 dart per shell! The range is great! Range test videos may make it seem like the range is meh, but it is very well acceptable! All in all if you want a fun blaster then get this! Not very war practical though... Don't forget to pull the trigger after playing to make sure its not kept primed!

It's a nice gun but not suitable for nerf wars has it has a low range. Though it is very good ij performance. The loading process is a bit slow but if you get good at it its really nice. This can be taken as the secondary weapon because pf its small range and size. It really great for cosplays as it looks stylish. As for me it was really good
