Pace 6 Pro 3D Motion

Better than Gillette Labs. I have been using these blades since they were Dollar Shave Club, so 8+ years. I recently had a coupon for Gillette Labs and said hey why not, lets try them. After months of using both, Dorco's are clearly better, gave closer, and last longer. I've tried Harry's as well and like these better. Best shave, best price.

Having used many Gillette products over the years, along with Schick, Bic and other name brands, these Dorco razors have performed quite nicely in comparison. I like the handle design with the multiple pivot head and the blades have remained sharp and comfortable for several weeks of use. I won't say they are better than the Gillette Fusion 5 or the Schick Hydro 5 blade cartridge, but cost wise they are less expensive and work well enough that I don't mind switching to these for the time being. I've tried many different brands over the years with cartridge style razors, from the Gillette Trac 2 and Atra systems many years ago, to the more modern 3, 4, 5 and more blade systems today. You really don't need more than 3 blades in my opinion, but these higher blade count cartridges do seem to last a bit longer. I still enjoy using DE razors too, but for the times I'm in a hurry and don't want to butcher myself, I'll use a cartridge razor. These have been working nicely so far and I've purchased enough blades to last me at least the rest of the year. Worth a try in my opinion if you're looking for a little less expensive alternative to other name brand products.

Excellent shaver. For those who look for a reliable and high quality yet affordable substitute for the Gillette brand this is a perfect choice. Shave head moves and adapts to the facial anatomy quite nicely, no bumps or nicks. Recommend 100%.

I figured I would get blades and a new handle because why not. The blades are compatible with pretty much any existing Dorco handle, which means after comparing with my old Pace handle that doesn't have the extra rotation of the "3D motion", I get less razor burn with the *old* handle. If you are already rolling your handle with your fingers because your muscle memory knows what the shape of your face is (i.e. without a mirror, shaving in the shower), that extra flexibility of rotation makes that handling "mushy" and therefore you end up dragging it harder than what your fingers feel.

I am a head shaver. I have shaved my head for well over 10 years. I usually shave every 2 or 3 days. I have gone through many models of disposable and a handful of cartridge razors. I have even tried a few different blades in the leaf razor. These Dorco Pace 6 blades stand at the top for me! I get the absolute SMOOTHEST shaves with this Pace 6 Pro blade and the least discomfort and cuts. I don't even understand how it's possible. These blades make me excited to shave because I know it's going to be such a pleasure compared to what I had been using for years. Let's talk about the 3D Motion handle. The handle does feel nice and doesn't slip out of my hands when they get wet. The way the head can move side to side is neat but I'm not sure if it makes a big difference in practice. It certainly doesn't hurt anything! The most important thing to know about the handle is it holds onto the razor cartridge extremely well. You can shake it as hard as you want and it won't fly off. I have even dropped it on the floor and it was totally fine. If all Dorco products are this good I may try some of the cartridges with fewer blades to see if I can get as good of a shave for a few bucks cheaper. For now though this was a great deal for the best shaves of my life!

It’s an OK product, but I don’t think you’re saving money in the long run. The blades don’t last as long as a Gillette nor is it as sharp as a Gillette. When shaving this blade causes hair pulling feeling and it takes more passes to cut. Therefore, the more passes you have to do the more likely you’ll have skin irritation, this blade can produce nicks. It was delivered fast.

I shave my head, and have gone through countless brands and types of razors. I finally stuck with a popular name brand razor for a few years, forking out a ridiculous amount of money for the refill cartridges. I recently noticed a decline in quality and consistency to the point I was getting cuts and razor burn from new cartridges. I started researching different subscription clubs, other big brands, and came to the conclusion based on reviews alone that I'd try these. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, I was only hoping for a comparable shave as my last brand but with more consistency and less price. I was amazed by the quality right as I opened the box. The handle alone feels so much higher quality than my previous several brands. The main test. The first shave. Wow... No pulling, no cuts, and the shave was the best I've ever had. No razor burn and by far the closest shave I've ever gotten. I'm sold! I'll be sticking with this razor as long as they remain consistent.
