Sturdy and good looking
Arrived earlier than estimated. A few years back we bought new desks in the rustic/black metal style and have been slowly converting our office to match. This was the last piece of furniture needed. It was easy to put together. The drawers, while fabric, seem to be strong and durable (for fabric). They are deep and roomy. The entire piece is sturdy and looks good, matching the rest of the furniture in the room. For the price point, you can't beat it. We're very happy with it!

Perfect for small spaces, looks good, and is lightweight and durable
This little cabinet is PERFECT for my small little home office! I've been using it as both a filing cabinet and printer stand. Money is a little tight this season, so I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I needed something durable, lightweight, and functional, but that didn't look or feel cheap either. The DEVAISE 2-drawer cabinet looked like it would tick all the boxes in the product listing, but I admit that I was slightly skeptical about whether it could actually deliver. Thankfully, it is even better than I'd hoped. It looks incredibly sharp now that it's fully assembled. It actually holds more files than the old plastic storage container I used to use (and looks a lot better, to boot). It's the perfect size for use as a printer stand. The drawers slide easily. The casters make it easy to move and reposition as needed. And despite the fact that the drawers are made of a soft material, it's shockingly durable. As a couple of other reviewers mentioned, don't be dissuaded by the soft-sided drawers. Intuitively, it may feel that soft-sided drawers would be flimsy and not sturdy, but they work incredibly well, even when packed full of heavy hanging file folders. In fact, they work a lot better than the old metal cabinets I used to have in my old office, which were forever getting stuck or running of their rails. These drawers glide smoothly, have plenty of capacity, and are far more sturdy than I'd have imagined. Not only that, the material is a nice departure from the cold, utilitarian harshness of traditional metal cabinets. I noticed that some reviewers express frustration with the assembly process. I will say that the directions are not quite as clear as they could be, but they're not difficult to follow either – if you examine the illustrations closely, it's pretty easy to figure out what's required at each step. From start to finish, it probably took me about 45 minutes to get it assembled. It would probably take even less time if I'd had a second pair of hands to assist. The only MINOR issue I have with it is that there is a slight gap at the top of each drawer, so from certain angles, you can see that there are files inside (as evident from the photo I attached with this review). It doesn't bother me in the slightest, but I can see how it might be a concern for some people. (Although now that I think of it, it would probably behoove me to tidy up my file tabs a bit and make sure that all the folders are hanging straight...) ASSEMBLY TIPS: 1.) In theory, all the tools you need to assemble the shelves are included in the box. However, I found that using my own tools made the job a lot faster, as the ones that the manufacturer provide are miniatures, somewhat flimsy, and difficult to manipulate if you have larger hands and sausage fingers (like me). 2.) I noticed that a few reviewers complained about the "clips" used to install the support rods that the file folders hang from on the inside of each drawer. Although they look as though they are clips that simply "snap" together with a friction fit, after closer inspection under a flashlight, the male portion appears to be threaded – so instead of a snapping "clip" system, they're actually closer to a plastic nut and bolt. I think this misunderstanding may have led to some of the issues that other users have experienced, because the directions are NOT clear about this fact and the 2 pieces are so small, it's difficult to see with the naked eye. So, rather than trying to force them to snap together when installing the hanging support rods inside each drawer, use two flat-head screwdrivers to hold one of the pieces in place while you lightly screw in the other. BOTTOM LINE: This cabinet does seem to be somewhat polarizing, but I've been extremely happy with it. It's eminently affordable, surprisingly sturdy, perfectly sized, and it looks about 10x better than any other filing cabinet I've ever used or owned!

Nice Accent Piece but a Little Flimsy
This looked like a great filing cabinet to add to my home office. I didn't want anything super heavy or bulky and this definitely isn't that. It works but it is flimsy - not SUPER flimsy but not the most rigid design. I mean, for a fabric walled cabinet, you can't expect much. It holds my files just fine and works well at holding my small Epson printer on the top but don't overload the drawers with stuff. All in all, I'm satisfied. It looks good and works well enough, also pretty easy to assemble.

Looks great, feels sturdy, I like it.
This serves its purpose very well. I started pricing metal filing cabinets and was surprised at the cost. I really did not want to have to assemble anything, but the price was surely right on this mobile file cabinet. It has two drawers on top and a file size drawer that comes with the hanging hardware for your 8 x 10 paper size files. It would not fit legal size files. It took me just under two hours to assemble it from opening the box to putting it into place. And I am someone who has difficulty with finger dexterity and arthritis in my hands. So if you are more nimble it probably will come together faster for you. I was delighted to find that all of the hardware was present along with a couple of extra screws and nuts and bolts. It even came with a small wrench and Allen wrench with a Philips screwdriver head on the end of the Allen wrench. The only other tool I needed was a standard screwdriver because two of the small black plastic parts that are supposed to just snap together were hard for me with my arthritis and I just needed the extra help from the regular screwdriver. The assembly instructions are literally a series of diagrams, there are no words. Everything was fairly straightforward and easy to follow. I only had one moment where I was perplexed by what to do with two pieces of metal, but then it occurred to me that I was supposed to hang them in the back of the bottom file drawer to provide cross support of the hanging file folder system. The drawers are fabric, but are sturdy. Bonus is that there is absolutely no chemical smell or other bad odor from any of the parts or fabric. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Cute and easy
I needed an easy side table for my work desk to accommodate my printer. This was the perfect size. It was easy to build. The frame is light weight and surprisingly sturdy. The drawers are the fabric type, which I didn't know until I received it. That's my fault for not reading lol. I do like that the front is a painted white rather than just fabric, however it's like a faux leather texture which I wasn't expecting. You can't tell by looking at the listing, so while it doesn't bother me, I think it's worth mentioning. I wouldn't call them sturdy, or particularly quality. Just that cheap polyester on cardboard type that you can get at any retail store. The difference is the style, the painted front facing panels and the handles. The handles themselves are a light weight plastic that just screw into punched out holes in the front. There is no reinforcement around the threading, so I don't particularly trust their durability. If youre going to be opening/closing the drawers alot, I would keep that in mind. I myself am just using this for storage of things I'll probably never look at except for on a rare occasion. My only real issue was the price. It seems rather expensive for something made of fabric and aluminum. I would not say the quality matches the price point. It does, however, serve the purpose I need it for. Overall I am pleased with my purchase, but if you are a big craft person, or a busy bee in the office, you may want to look for something more quality.

Perfect for my modest needs, looks good in my home office
This is exactly what I needed: a place to store the papers and desk clutter in my home office. Drawers work well. Front wheels lock to keep from rolling. I like that there’s a places for my hanging files. Drawers are roomy enough for my needs. I’m buying organizers for the top drawer to keep everything from jumbling together. I had a hard time finding office drawers that didn’t look like a modern office cube. This fits right in with the vibe of our older home. I was surprised that the fronts of the drawers aren’t pieces of board but are actually printed fabric. Not a big deal, nobody’s looking closely at it. Is it built to last forever? No not really. But it’s built good enough to suit my modest needs for now. Assembly took about a half hour or so. The directions and labeling were very clear, almost IKEA-like. The tools you’ll need are provided. Some parts of the assembly are a bit fiddly. I like that it comes with extra screws and parts in case you manage to lose one. Overall I’m very happy with it. It does it’s job: a place for all my home office stuff.

File may tip over easily when drawers are loaded and extended!
Drawers are made of rigid cardboard and wrapped in a fabric material. The frame of the cabinet is metal and is sturdy itself. The top portion seems to be a wood composite. The drawers are flimsy when inserted in the frame and files are placed in them. .However, in my experience with this item, when the drawers are loaded with files and pulled out to retrive something, the entire cabinet tends to lean forward to tip over. I have had to catch it a few times. I use it but only keep a few files in it due to the possibility of it tipping over. I have ordered a full metal file cabinet and will trash this one once I receive the new metal cabinet.

Great. Affordable. Nice looking.
Great filing cabinet! Worked perfectly for my small home office. HP printer fits perfectly on top. Very sturdy. Drawers slide smoothly. Bottom drawer has metal bars for hanging files. I am 67 year old female, put it together myself in about 45 Minutes. ( I have put lots of furniture together on my own) So it was not a challenge for me. Directions are not the best but take it slow and you'll do well. I did not want a heavy metal cabinet for the purpose it was needed. This is just right. Looks more expensive than the cost. Win win.
