Very easy to add to lego 60051 passenger train set
Works wonderfully. After watching a youtube video (put out by a private individual, not lego), I was able to easily add this light set to my 60051 lego passenger train set. Now, with one dial on the remote that comes with the 60051 train, I can turn on, increase and decrease the brightness on the lights on the train. Still have the other remote dial to turn on the train and increase and decrease the speed. LOVE IT!!

Not all Lego trains use same light kit.
Not all Lego brand train sets have lights, most don't. You have to order separate light kit. Also some trains use "Power Function" and some use "Power Up"( Bluetooth compatible ) as your power source . So when you order know your trains set number from box. For example 60197 Legos latest model is a Power up model and Power Function light kits will NOT work on it. You would order form Amazon or Lego shop and have your model # handy and order your light kit. Do your homework first be sure you find the right light kit for that model or you will be like me and order wrong kits or a kit that works but not what I needed ( after market Brand). Took me three times to get the right one. Good luck.

Great accessory for a power functions set!
My son has 2 power functions train sets, so we picked up these lights to add to the engine of one of the sets. He loves turning down/off the room lights so he can see these powered lights on the train. The actual pieces are small enough to easily incorporate within a build. The cord length is long enough to reach the IR receiver within the train body.

Great LEGO Idea!
I installed these in my passenger train after watching a you tube video done by a child. It sure was a snap and my train looks extra nice lighted. I highly recommend this product.

Light up the Night!
These work great! We got a set for our son. His train required some modifications to install, but we looked that up on YouTube. Really happy with this purchase!

Very Bright!!
These are so neat! I bought them for the hubs because he has the Lego passenger train. Well he set this up in our basement and turned all the lights off and let it go. I was SHOCKED at how bright they are. There is a switch on the train remote to turn them on and off. When they were on, as the train went around the curve and shown the light on the wall, it was so bright and distinct. Very realistic... just mini! very pleased.

works well, as all Lego parts.
Works well with Lego Train. Flexible and good length to work cable into train. My wife bought the train here also and the instructions came with how to install the led kit. If you end up purchasing this after you build the train fear not as it is still easy to install as trains comes apart easily.
