Origami Painting

This unique one of a kind item is inspired by Japanese origami. The painting depicts a paper crane with the head of a real crane, particularly a red crowned crane. The painting's background is simple, divided into two major fields, and expressionistic in nature. The yellow background is created using layers of watercolor paint. A coat of high gloss acrylic varnish prevents the image from running when wet and protects against gentle wear and tear.
