Leviton QuickPort Decora Insert, 6-Port, 41646-W, White

So glad to have loose wires terminated and in a nice wall plate. Looks great and works well.

I used these to give my hone theater a clean look. These work perfectly with other brands that have the modern decora style plugs. My house has all Legrand (Pass & Seymour) matte outlets and these worked well with them.

I used a few of these to replace existing plates because they offer far greater customization than the usual pre-built ones you get on various wall plates. I used these for HDMI, COAX and network jacks to outfit my tv wall plates with all the plugs I needed to get things connected. I did have an issue with one plate where the metal screw port popped out of the plastic, but it happened because I mounted my tv over it and HDMI cables were pinched so tight it was pushing too hard on the wall plate. This was resolved by moving the tv over slightly, but I did have to purchase a new Keystone plate. Other than that, they fit great in existing setups and the keystones all fit snugly inside.

I gave it 4 stars because it’s constructed very well. That being said the biggest con I find with this is it does not fit Cat6 keystone jacks side by side. The jacks are just too wide.

I was skeptical getting this after reading some reviews. Was afraid my keystones wouldn’t fit nicely with this plate. But for 5 bux, I’d figured id give it a shot and I’m glad I did. Works nothing short of perfect with Cable Matters shielded Cat6a keystones. Thusly, works perfectly with the 2, 3 and 4 port versions as well. Can’t speak intelligently about other keystones though. If you have the above mentioned keystone, don’t hesitate to get these. Saved me some work having to cut into my wall and add more low voltage brackets/keystone plates.

These work beautifully for installing speaker jack, data, and HDMI keystones. I usually trust most low voltage products made by Leviton. I am a professional A/V installer and use a variance of these almost on a daily basis.These, like most keystone plates are clearly marked Top to make it easier installing your keystones jacks. They are made out of quality plastic and I am yet to break one when installing. The tabs where the mounting screws fit, are made from a softer plastic that allows for some flex, to relieve stress when plugging in cables to the keystone jacks. These come with screws needed to secure the insert to your low voltage bracket.

Sure- you can buy keystone wallplates all day long and there are tons of brands, but at the end of the day these are STRONG and are made to very tight tolerances. This is from experience - had two different 6 port keystones that I could not get 3x HDMI, 2xLAN, and 1x Optical Cable keystones to fit properly - or if they did, the plastic flexed so badly when putting pressure on the ports that the keystones would just pop right back into the gang. Switching to the Leviton cost me a few bucks more but the keystone jacks snapped in with a very solid click and didn't move around at all once installed. For my 2 port jacks it was not as bad but when you start cramming in 6 ports to a single gang it can be problematic - with the Leviton I have no complaints.

I wanted to use this insert near my modem and router so I can have the coax and cat6 cable connections close and available to just plug in with a short cable. While I was mounting this to the low voltage frame that was installed into the wall, the screws stripped out. I was screwing this in by hand, not using a drill or anything and the screws still stripped out. After hooking everything up, my modem didn't come online so I thought the connector or cable were an issue and I wanted to hook my modem back up to the original cable. I could not get this plate out of the wall because the screws were stripped. I had to cut this apart to get to the original coax cable to test my modem connectivity. Now I can't use this plate or the wall adapter this was screwed into because Leviton used to the worst screws ever. It makes me not want to purchase any Leviton products ever again. If they cut corners on screws, what else are they doing to save money?

I bought multiple 6-port and 2-port of this product, they all worked perfectly with QuickPort adaptor jacks (by Leviton also) for my home wiring project. The products themselves looked a little flimsy to me and i was quite concerned they may break when inserting jacks. However none of them actually got broken. I guess the plastic material for the insert is very good and also the dimensions of those Leviton jacks are well controlled. One point that you may need to know: these inserts are directional. The top is marked out with embossed "top". I was frustrated when trying to force a jack in with the wrong direction. More expensive than some other options at Amazon but these inserts are absolutely worth the price.

Bought this insert to use with VCE Keystone inserts - speaker and RCA. Both fit well and snug but still can be removed with a reasonable amount of effort if needed. I didn't have much luck with VCE blanks - they are three times more expensive than Leviton blanks available from Home Depot and the ones I've got from Amazon were of a dirty greyish color instead of white on top of that. This insert configuration doesn't however allow too much space around keystones. You may need to look for a solid 6 gang wall plate if you need more space around keystones. Walplate aestetics doesn't matter that much if you have it installed behind your media rack or sofa.

Compatible with Keystone or quickport. Make sure the jacks you use are the skinny type. Some Keystone jacks are wider, so you will not be able to have them side by side. I have mixed levilton, and non levington jacks. HDMI, optical, telephone,cat 5.

Arrived quickly. Appears to be of reasonable quality. Just started to use. No issues so far. For me, good value for the price. If I needed more, I would buy again.
