TSTAK Tool Box, Extra Large Design, Removable Tray for Easy Access to Tools, Water and Debris Resistant (DWST17806)

I began purchasing tools a few years back to have what I may need when I may need it. DeWalt is my brand of choice for certain. The compartment size, durability, and all round utility friendly design are perfect for storing the tools for the job. The heavy duty latches as well as the composite materials combine to make a beast of a box. Sure to protect the contents from all but obliteration with a color pattern I’ve always found sharp.

I'm using this as a battery box rather than a tool box and it fits the bill quite well. Holds a group 31 size battery resting on a styrofoam base. On top I mounted a capacity meter and inside a shundt is mounted. Will work quite well on my jon boat for the trolling motor.

Bought this as a gift for my husband after a lot of research, and it’s honestly one of the better-designed toolboxes I’ve seen. Build quality feels solid — sturdy metal latches, strong handle, and a deeper interior than expected. The removable tray is practical for smaller tools, while the bottom holds bulkier items easily. I also liked that it’s part of the TSTAK modular system, so you can expand your setup later. Note: it’s larger than photos make it seem, and there aren’t built-in small dividers, so it’s better suited for tools than tiny hardware. Overall: durable, spacious, and worth it if you want something that will last. My husband loved it.

It is a fine tough tool box. I would have preferred an extra set of latches rather than the standard tool tray that they provide you with which is something that I generally just toss out. It seems to be part of nearly every toolbox that you buy, given the situation that I will later elucidate, fluff is less of an incentive than practical things if you wish to enhance the consumer experience. I have one true disappointment with this toolbox and almost every other Dewalt toolbox that I recently bought. I purchased three of these cases I took delivery checked them out. I was fine with them, possibly the following Monday I opened my Amazon app to possibly order more and found that the price for this model and another model had each gone up, these were significant pricing increases I believe the increase was almost 25%. I was bitterly disappointed because it indicates what’s down the road, these prices are unsustainable, in future these items may go on sale but the price will never come down. I know that technology and the economy of scale will make things cheaper in future. In previous times this all would’ve simply gone over my head, but this is something that I will never forget.

I bought this box to organize my hand tools and the quality of the materials is excellent. The plastic is very robust and the metal closures give a lot of security; they do not open by accident. I like that the sealing protects well against dust in the workshop. It's a little heavy, but that's a sign that it's durable. Totally recommended for professionals or DIY enthusiasts!

Solid construction, inner tool tray is useful in that it doesn’t take up the entire interior, allowing you to store taller items.

Great tool box! Sturdy. Has a semi-locking handle so it stays where it's put. Latches seem sturdy as well. I needed this at work , works as expected.... and it says DEWALT in bold letters on the top of it 👍

Get storage easy to take to job sites I just recently order 2 more of the clear top organizers and a deep bin with a lid like the yellow tops makes jobs some much easier and way faster when it’s organized like this

These tool boxes are the best . Tough and come in a variety of configurations. They stack up perfectly and all can go on a engineered dolly specifically designed for this. I got them all and perfect for in my truck. No more digging through toots or shopping bags for tools.
