having the reading part at the bottom of the meter makes it near impossible to read when dipped in my nutrient tank but it seems to work ok, but would have been better built the same as most others or indeed my old meter with the screen at the top where it is not obstructed by the containers sides, ok for swimming pools etc where you have clear view, cheap enough meter and sensible choice of batteries is a good idea.

I use this for my crystal red shrimp rank to test TDS and temperature. Both measures quickly appear on the same readout, which is really convenient. Don't use rechargeable batteries in it though.

Was one click away from buying a blue lab when I friend mentioned the inkbird .I have many other products from inkbird and very rarely have problems with there products.always top quality equipment..German brands are 99% of the time top quality products .especially when it comes to electrical, music speakers etc.

Usual inkbird quality. Very accurate and easy to read, I just wish they made a PH tester.

I unboxed the inkbird ec meter. I put new batteries in it. The first thing I did was to test this meter with Growth Technology EC Standard solution with an guaranteed ec of 2.76 ec. The inkbird ec meter gave a reading of 2.240 - 2.250 ec. Useless. Are these meters not tested by quality control before leaving the factory? I had to give it one star as it won't let me give it a zero out of five stars!
