Amazing quality, well impressed
These are amazing quality and outlast any other backpacks my kids have had, ever. Really impressed with materials and build. Plenty of space in separate slots. No abrasion marks or threads starting to pull apart, despite taking a beating in very hectic schedules of active college age boy and girl hauling around tablets daily. Also stylish and I would say smart, even, making them a bag that could easily be used for a professional commuter. Also appreciate the attention to security, pockets, robust handles and comfort on back when heavy -- no sweaty back. A brand that's deserving of high praise indeed!

Great travel companion
I was looking for a BP with less than the current trend of 70+ zips. This one has 3, a laptop space that takes an additional screen, the centre bit and then a handy small bit for keys and other stuff. Seems sturdy, is light and thus good value for a comfy back pack.

5* quality
very good quality bag, i would recommend. the laptop/ipad section is very well padded and it has lots of space and helpful pockets inside. the zips and handle are good quality, straps are comfy and the external fabric is lovely

As good as my old Victorinox Bag
I bought this after finally needing to retire my old Victorinox backpack, that has lasted over 8 years. So far I am very happy with the quality. The price is about 1/4 of a new Victrorinox backpack, and let's face it, they are probably made in the same factory. I like the tablet pocket and the organiser pockets for pens etc. The side pockets would probably be no good for coffee cups, but a small umbrella fits fine. Too soon to be confident on the long term reliabilty of course, but so far it all looks good.

Good but Far From Perfect
This is very much a first impression review and that impression is quite good but with serious reservations. As I would expect from this make the material looks to be substantial and the manufacturing quality seems to be very good. The pack provides a number of pockets which are generally quite useful but for a bag designed for travel it misses out on details which I think are essential. The first failing for me is that many small backpacks have a major vulnerability which is that it is easy for someone behind you in a crowd or queue to relieve you of wallet, passport, etc. (not a vague risk and it resulted in my sister losing money, cards and passport waiting to check in at a major airport in USA). The result is many travel packs have a pocket accessed from the side of the pack which is against he wearers back. A common and very good solution which I am amazed that this pack misses out on. The essential valuables need to go in a "normal" rear opening pocket so "plan B" for me would be to put a small travel padlock across the zip sliders. Can't do that either as the slider tags are solid rather than, rather obviously for a travel pack, having holes for a padlock. In a similar area although there are a number of slim pockets inside which are good for passports, phone and similar for a bag designed for a laptop their is no obvious place for the essential charger and leads. I now have them in a small zipped toilet bag but a built in pocket would be a lot better. This would have been a five star product and that is what I would have expected from Wenger but there are too many issues for a bag clearly designed for travel. Maybe the detail of having somewhere to put a rear light if I wanted to ride my bike at night helps one or two users with bikes that don't have a rear light bracket and its nice that the bag stands up on its own. The 'feature" steel cable running through the hand grip may be a plus but I have never known one to break without that feature. Its a good plus that one shoulder strap can be unclipped to wrap around a chair leg or similar for security but how did the makers while thinking security come up with that and forget about keeping the contents secure !! Sorry Wenger. Good product but misses the mark. I have bags half the price that do a better job.

Comfortable, durable and lots of space
I was on the look out for a new backpack as my previous workhorse needed to be retired. This is a great fit for work for those that carry more than just the usual cables and laptop - there's plenty of room for a change of clothes, over ear headphones and other pariphanilia. Early usage looks great so we'll see how this continues.
