Affordable, adjustable, contemporary color finish.
Bought mine 9/5/2021 off Amazon. Delivered in one box. Its marked a two person lift but strong young UPS driver wrangled it alone. ASSEMBLY: I've assembled post and cam furniture for a good 40 years now, I've seen all kinds, from high end Scandinavian, to Ikea, to Sauder, to O'Sullivan, to nameless Chinese makers. This kit rates a B or B+ in engineering and manufacturing accuracy based on my subjective experiences. Written instructions/assembly pictures were printed small and hard to see. Bigger would be better, but they didn't confuse me or say things that were wrong. Two cams kinda skewed out of holes upon tightening probably from variance in hole or cam size (trivial 1/16" and nobody would ever notice, this can happen when cam hole is drilled in where there is a hollow spot in manufactured particle board). I thought instructions lacked good advice about importance of squaring up the frame before nailing on the back panel (so if you read this before assembly remember to square it up before you start nailing, and check as you nail). The 50 +/- nails/brads were on the small side, and thus hard and to hold without hitting fingers with hammer (PAX, an IKEA sold brand, provides a clever nail holder/jig to solve this; if you are a Tool Time handyman maybe you have a brad nailer you can get out and use instead). Then it has to be laid on its front to nail on back panel, and because the bottom base shelf sticks out, the sides are up in the air and they lack support for the nailing. I stuck some 2x4 pieces I had under it and this got the sides supported to improve stability for nailing. SET UP/INSTALLATION: The kit comes with 2 wall anchor brackets to attach the top to the wall. You MUST use them for safety of kids and cats who sooner or later will climb it (don't be lazy about this). The brackets were simple, a slot allowed adjustment to accommodate any baseboard width, and had beveled holes for flush mounting funnel head screws included. Top of shelf has predrilled hole for screwing into. However, they included very lame plastic dry wall anchors, and you really really ought to go buy some decent self drilling ones that will go in with less aggravation and will have double or triple the holding strength before ever pulling out. Or, place shelf so one or both brackets line up with studs in wall and just screw in for 100x the holding strength. ADJUSTABILTY: Shelf pins went in well, but a few pins/holes were too tight for easy insertion. Shelves were thin material but more than strong enough for task, and by being thin it increased space for media (IKEA used to sell a Besta brand media shelf with 1/2 shelves, serious overkill). The shelf pin holes were about 1 1/4" apart, in my dream world they would be 1/2" or closer for more accurate adjustability to maximize usable shelf space. NOTE: the middle shelf is fixed in place and is not adjustable, but all the shelves above and below CAN be adjusted. This company sells a different model media shelf kit that looks almost identical, but with NO adjustable shelves, a serious limitation in my mind. PAY ATTENTION TO WHICH ONE YOU ARE BUYING as it is not obvious from pictures or product title. The fixed middle shelf meant that for me to use ALL the space, I had to play around and reset the shelves several times to get a configuration that worked best for my VHS/DVD/Blue-Ray/CD mixed media collection. There wasn't a lot of dead space between shelves when I was done, but it meant one row was VHS media, then the next rows were DVD media, then back to VHS media. If I kept all the same size media together for aesthetic reasons, I lost too much usable space. CONCLUSION: Price, adjustability, build quality, were all more than good enough so I would buy this again without any hesitation.

Cheap but gets the job done.
I bought 2 cheap media shelfs from Amazon website in the last 3 years and I can say this one is much better than the last one. There's plastic in the screw holes so they stay in place better and the way you put it together is a lot more intelligent with screwing the middle board into the boards in stead of the Phillips locks and Dallas. I was able to stand it up with out the backing with it falling apart like the last one. Nothing was broken except two of the Phillips locks where molded wired and did not fit in place luckily I had spares on hand. For $103 bucks it's good for now and I can see it surviving at least one move.

Affordable storage space to organize your collection.
The Oskar Media Storage Cabinet series is pretty useful and can be great with a little care and extra effort, but beware as these are fairly cheap so you can easily break things during assembly or if you want to move it later. Each side is is held only by 1 cam-lock prong and two dowels or a pair of small wood screws, so any stress on the thin material is likely to cause it to break and fall apart. Also the cam-locks can loosen over time and fall out, causing the unit to come apart quite easily. One more important tip: do NOT over-tighten these cam-locks in the hope that they will hold together better, as you are more likely to snap and break them! I recommend you reinforce the unit during assembly by using an extra screw that is longer and put it between the 2 existing shorter screws or in the case of the cam-lock prong, about 1/2 inch off of that middle post, toward the front dowel piece. Also, since you can not use an extra screw when putting the top and bottom halves together, you can dab a little wood glue on the dowels next to the middle part cam-locks, so that will help holding the two main halves together more firmly. Now for the review: The Media Shelf in itself if pretty useful and both a cost and space efficient way to store your CDs, DVDs, and Bluray or game disks or even manga and smaller books like standard paperback editions. One MAJOR caveat... We bought multiple "models" of this and the various capacities while similar, are NOT all created equal. This Oskar 765 one has 3 vertical sections, and if you look closer on the pic, then you will see that the small shelves are INDENTED and are much more narrow and thinner than the ones used for the Oskar 464 model, which only has 2 vertical stacks, but each of its small shelves are THICKER and extend to the entire depth of the shelf sides! This is a MAJOR difference so it may be better to buy two of the Oskar 464 instead of 1 of the Oskar 765. Based on where you want it and how much of space you have horizontally, it may work out better and look better with DVDs not hanging off the tiny shelves. The thickness also helps to hold a little more weight due to the way the shelves are cut out and suspended. each Oskar 765 small shelf: 11.5 in x 4.6 in x 3/8 in thick, weight: 222 g each Oskar 464 small shelf: 11.5 in x 5.5 in x 1/2 in thick, weight: 325 g As you can see the shelves for the larger unit are MUCH more flimsy and it it probably done so they can fit them into a similarly proportioned package for shipping, so they made them smaller and lighter. They still work, but personally I do not like how DVDs and Bluray extend past the shelf as they are about 5.3 inches, but they fit very nicely on the smaller Oskar 464 model shelves, so keep that in mind when you decide! Overall, I do like the media shelf system (technically not a cabinet as it has no doors) but IMHO the Oskar 464 at $53 from $80 depending on the color you choose is a better buy for the long term than the Oskar 765. Hope this helped. Have fun organizing your media/games collection. :) This depth is ideal for most old console games like SNES or Sega boxes as well as many other small collectibles. Enjoy!

Very nice cabinet
My 16-year-old put this together. We had a lot of interruptions, but when it was all said and done, it took him about 20 to thirtyish minutes to get it put together. Although it was designed for dvds/media I used it for miniature collectibles. All in all quality is good, sturdiness is good, and design is good. I would recommend this for your DVD/Media or miniature collectibles.

Complete junk
For $150 this should have been much sturdier and not fall apart while putting together. It’s junk! The boards don’t line up right, they split when installing the screws, holes don’t line up right for the screws, the bolts that hold the support together snapped (pretty much disintegrated), the back might as well be paper and you’ll need to buy plywood to attach to it to be able to mount it to the wall correctly or it’s going to fall before you even put items on it, also not right amount of holes or spacing to place the shelves correctly so you definitely cannot fit the amount of blu rays or dvds it claims. Don’t buy, complete trash and a waste of money.

Super beau meuble , une planche un peu bossé , mais sûrement dû au transport . Heureusement ça paraît très peu

Demasiado caro, difícil de armar, y de baja calidad. Tuve que comprar piezas extras para que fuera estable.

We have a huge dvd collection & we organized each section as genre. If we had way more room we would get another one but whenever we do have more room; we will hopefully purchase another one for our ever growing collection. Didn’t take long for my husband to put together & looks awesome once everything is inside & well organized
