Are these good for dusting?

That is a decision you would have to make depending on what you are dusting and whether it is wood, plastic, metal or whatever. The sponges need to be dampened or you'd be dusting/wiping stuff down with a stiff sponge and not very successful in cleaning.

After washing can you put in dryer?

I have dried them in the dryer and they hold up just fine, but it makes them crinkle up and are then hard to stack in a drawer. I now take them out of the washer and either hang them flat to dry or fold them in half and let them dry like that before putting them away.

Do these get thicker when you wet them?

Yes, they absorb a fair bit of water. They're very useful wiping up spills, using as a dishcloth, etc and I also keep one in the bathroom for wiping out basins and counter tops. They rinse out well, better than sponges as they don't have holes. When they dry, they feel a bit stiff, but soften again when dampened. One can use each numerous times.
