Works good
Good stud finder for the money. It's easy to use and does a good job at locating studs in the wall. The size is not bad as it fits comfortably in my hand with no problems. The accuracy for the most part is good but like almost every one of these I've used, it'll always have its moments where it doesn't seem to do right. But it ends up working out fine and gets the job done.

Superb!
Absolutely love it. Works like a charm. A must for mopunting flat panels or heavier items on your walls safely.

Make sure you use new batteries
I thought this product would be easy to use, but I continually kept getting error messages and beeping. It does not seem very reliable or accurate Update: After reading online, it seems that the malfunctioning may have been caused by the fact that the battery I was using was a few years old (although unused). I replaced with a newly purchased battery, and it seems to be working fine now. I like that the light arrow shows you where the edge of the stud is

Works well on thick lath and plaster walls.
I’ve used this successfully in a house that has lath and plaster. Most stud finders won’t work on those thick walls, but this one worked flawlessly. I wouldn’t wanna be without it now that I’ve seen how well it works.

Had this same one for 15+ years and it quit working. Replacing with the same one.

Easy to use. Make sure battery is good.
It will detect PVC water pipe 1" in diameter and it will detect AC wire, metal, wood no problem. I would keep this but i also got HD900 version and it tells you if line is electrical or not. Otherwise no difference and this is the best scanner you can get for the money.

I've bought a few stud finders under a $100 including renowned brands but none actually came even remotely close to this thing. It does the job and it does it well, 100% recommended!
