Triumph Sports Air Hockey Table

Having read some reviews, I had pretty low expectations for his table. But we found it on sale for ~$400 and said, what the hell, let's add it to the game room. Delivery was great. It came 'mostly pre-assmebled' The kids love it. Yes, it could use more lift on the fans - but if your kids are 5-13y/o - this is great. The quality is good enough for the price. Particle board mostly. We had a problem with a sensor that would trigger a score when the puck hit the wall rather than going in the gate. That was a bummer - but I called a gal in indiana and she could not have been more helpful. My 5 stars goes 4 to the product and + 1 to the awesome customer service, who sent me new sensors and a new puck just for asking, and now the thing works perfectly after a minor fix. The kids play the hell out of this thing, and I gotta confess, I like it too :) If you can get this between 4-600 - dont think twice. its pretty good vaue and hours of fun. UPDATE May 2021 - We've had this 5 months now - One of the paddles broke, Posting this update for the exceptional customer service. New paddles and pucks on the way. This company could not be more friendly and helpful.

I just finished putting the table together and testing it out. I have to say, unless you get a defective unit, I don't quite understand the negative reviews. The small screws were a little tricky with my big clumsy hands, but it wasn't hard by any stretch of the imagination. Once assembled, it was pretty sturdy and the perfect size for our little game room. Now, don't expect a huge arcade sized table because this thing is very small in comparison, but if you just want a fun little item to add to your in home game room, this is perfect. I'm 6 ft tall and didn't feel it was too tiny for me. The light up puck and paddles are a really cool touch. One thing to note in the instructions, when it tells you to attach the goal wires under the table, you will notice the wires cross in the diagram so the left goal plugs into the right slot and the right in the left. This is accurate. If you accidentally plug them in backwards, like I first did, it's tough to pull the plugs back out and you feel like you're going to pull the wires out of the little plug housing. It's best to avoid this and plug them in correctly the first time.

We have a slew of elementary aged kids, ages 5-11 and purchased this air hockey table for Christmas. The table was not available on Prime, and we were pleasantly surprised that it was delivered before the estimated arrival date. Because of it's size, it was not delivered via a standard delivery truck but a private delivery company. They called a few days ahead of time to let us know what day it would be arriving and that it required us to be home and to sign for the box (sadly no specific delivery time was offered until a call came 1/2 hour before delivery). The gentlemen delivering were kind enough to bring it all the way into our family room, rather than leave it at the door. It couldn't be a surprise gift however, because a picture of the hockey table is printed in color across the huge box. The table itself isn't too tricky to assemble, certainly easier with two adults, but not necessary. The table is a great size for my 9yo+ aged kids and our youth group teens love it. It's a little tougher for the younger ones, but they pull up a stool and have a great time with it nonetheless. It's awesome that it can be played in the dark and the lights really do make a cool playing effect. Now the down side: 4 days into air hockey ownership, one of our fans gave out. We will be contacting Amazon and trying to get a replacement from the company. Will update when we know what they do. Additional cons: There is only one charging cable so you can only charge one handle at a time. Also, the only way to turn the table on and off is to unplug it. It would be nice if there was a switch so you didn't have to unplug it after use. Will update this review after we resolve the fan issue. UPDATE: Amazon recommended we contact the manufacturer about replacement parts. Called this morning, and after a long wait time to speak with a customer service rep, we had an easy, no-questions asked replacement part ordered and on the way. Knowing that we can get good service on this product and that they are willing to make this right, improves my opinion of the product and we look forward to a lot more use out of it over the years. Terrible product that stopped working after not even two months. And amazon did a terrible job with customer support to resolve the issue.

This air hockey table was fairly easy to set up, even for a woman senior citizen. The lights and auto scoring makes it feel more expensive than it is and our grandsons love playing it. The abacus scorer on each goal is in the way and both boys got scratches on their arms from reaching over it. The biggest problem, however, is shipping damage. It was dropped or slid on one corner so the plastic edging was broken. Some glue and tape fixed it because the thought of taking it apart and returning it was more than we could handle. Amazon came to the rescue and offered a discount option rather than a return! I think this product is well worth the cost even before the damage discount. Maybe beefed up packaging could reduce or eliminate shipping damage.

My kids (8&12) absolutely love this air hockey table. The light up paddles and puck along with digital auto score give them the cliche “Hours of fun” for real. Bit if an assemble but if you follow instructions patiently and are not a total nit you can do it. Only minor difficulty is the pre start screw holes are a bit difficult to get screws going as legs are a hard wood ( which is actually a good thing for strength). Pretty sturdy and I have my kids put one hand behind back while playing and not lean on table ( also avoids some bruised fingers and such from puck during aggressive play). Very happy with this unit, we will see if it is durable over time.

The Good - This is NOT a high end premium product. This is an entry level ice hockey table made with cheap materials. When it's up and working it's a neat table for the price. The way it lights up and keeps score electronically is pretty awesome. The puck isn't perfect at gliding across the table but it does ok. For "The Good" I give this product 3 stars. The Bad - Assembling this thing was not fun. The "Fire & Ice" decorative boards along the legs did NOT have matching drill holes. We assembled ours on Xmas Eve and wound up getting so frustrated we just threw the plates away. The holes weren't even close. For the electric score board the holes were also too far off and I had to drill my own hole so I could screw the scoreboard in. The Ugly - On Xmas day, my daughter was beyond herself to get this for Christmas! But then we started playing it. On one end the scoring sensor only picks up the goal if the puck is near the side of the goal when it goes in. If the shot is in the middle it does not pick up so we have to manually put the puck in on the side to get the scoreboard to show the score. After a few plays one of the goal's plastic broke around the screw and the whole goal fell off. My daughter was devastated. I managed to fix this with super glue but I'm not sure how long it's going to hold up. Just know, some of the parts are very very cheap.

I bought this table for my 13 YO son for Xmas. He was thrilled. It's a bit smaller than the tables in pay arcades so it fits in a smaller room. It's big enough to really smash the puck back and forth, just like the larger tables. The coolest thing about it is that it lights up! The table lights, the score board lights, the strikers light up...even the puck lights up. It arrived quickly after ordering, right on the schedule that I picked when I ordered. It was easy to assemble by following the directions. I was even able to assemble it at 3 in the morning with minimal tools, be quiet enough to not wake anyone early Xmas morning, and quick enough to get back to bed and sleep again before waking for real. Everything worked as it should right out of the box. The only problem I found (when I really got to inspect it at a more decent hour) was smoothly remedied by Ryan, the customer service pro at Escalade Sports. He was quickly able to figure out what was amiss, offer a choice of solutions, and had what I needed shipped right to my door about a week later, COVID-19 and all. Strong work! Overall - Great air hockey table. Good value. Good balance of features, size, and playability. Outstanding customer service. Great gift. I highly recommend it!
