Palmar Resting Hand Splint, Right, Medium

A very nice splint and is very comfortable until it gets hot. It will be a great splint in the winter because it will keep your hand warm. In the summer it can get hot having it on. I loved the fact that they give you an extra cover. That way you can keep using it when you have a cover in the laundry. It is very well made and should last a good long time. The reason I got it was because my last splint that Medicare paid for didn't last a year and they only pay for one a year. I hope to get more than a years use out of this one.

Note that the picture is not the product listed, but the product itself is great. Very easy to strap and the added place where you can put your thumb is a plus. They also provide another sleeve so you can wash the other sleeve and alternate them. My grandpa had a stroke and curls his fingers to the point he's been making a fist all the time and causing to cut circulation in his fingers. The brace itself is also soft so all around comfortable, even I would wear this.

I don't usually take the time to leave reviews; however - this product warranted it. My husband suffered a stroke 6 years ago and needs the brace to keep his hand in the correct position while sleeping. We have tried several different types of braces always with frustration at being able to get his hand in before he clenches or it's a trial to get him in the right position and get the velcro fastened. This brace is super soft; the straps work well - probably the best for his type of atrophy. The extra cover is super nice as he tends to wear Velcro out over time and this way we can wash a cover when it is dirty and clean the velcro without a day or two of downtime for drying. Thank you for making this product at a very reasonable price.

Bought this for my mother. After a recent stroke she was having a problem with "wrist drop". This brace supports her wrist as well as her fingers. I love how it is easily adjustable to customize positioning. I also love how soft it is allowing her to wear it for extended times. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it came with a spare liner and laundering bag. My only complaint would be that it seems to be made for someone with very long fingers and therfore the strap that is meant to go across the base of the fingers actually ends up laying across the tips of my mother's very short fingers.
