These are sturdy, large, well-made, and seem like they will last forever. However, they smell really, really badly. I’ve had them a couple of weeks and the smell has not receded. I don’t notice it on a daily basis because they’re on the floor and I’m 5’7” tall. But I can always smell it when I stoop down to put one under the door. It would be preferable that they not have such a strong, unpleasant odor.

I tried a few door stoppers for a door that has quite a big gap at the bottom, trying to prevent people from swinging the front door into a piece of furniture. In most cases, the wedges would move along with the door. These wedges work well; even with a pretty good push, they move only a couple of inches at most and then stop, solving my problem.
