3x3 Speed

Very smooth compared to the original cube. Corner cutting is ok. Adjustments are cool and really do make a difference. Good cube for someone getting into speed cubing and wants to solve faster than the original cube. Made well and feels good in your hands.

This is a very nice translucent cube. I was really hoping to own a transparent cube and Rubik's delivered in a big way. The colors are all really nice and easy to look at. They are like the original colors, not weird or pastel like. Of course it looks great, but it also feels wonderful to turn. Not stiff like an original Rubik's, ...it is light and turns very smoothly like a well worn in cube. Right out of the package, it was fantastic. No lube or modifications needed. I own Gan 12's , Moyu WRM Maglev, RS3M 2020, Dayan...and a bunch of other nice speed cubes. This Rubik's will remain in my favorites. It would take a while for me to be as fast with it as say a Gan 12, but I think I could get fast with it if I practiced on it more. I just love the fact that it is see through, light, easy to look at, and turns so well! Not to mention the cheap price! High Quality in this one. In fact, It is the best looking transparent cube by far on the current market. You can't go wrong with this one. Thank You for reading this and thank you Rubik's for this product. I hope it is a homerun for more people. It is very new, and no one has any reviews up yet. I may buy more of these to give as gifts. In the future, If Rubik's reads any reviews (I'm sure they have thought of it already) Is to put an on/off switch so that it will light up. I put a flashlight up to it at night and it looks incredible. Hopefully we will see this cube get some light up treatment. Motion control doesn't work well, so I think a switch would be better with replaceable batteries. It's great as is though. 5 stars across the board

(Quick Summary: I highly recommend this cube for beginners or for just anyone who wants a fun little puzzle that they can throw on their shelf in a home or office to use as a conversation starter. The cube is sturdy and of course it has the nostalgia of being an actual Rubik’s cube.) Now, of course by my title, you should understand that this is NOT a speed cube. So if you plan on buying this in hopes to beat a record or improve your speed cubing time, I wouldn’t recommend it. NOW… with that being said. The cube is actually built very well in my opinion. Compared to the old and other “sticker” versions, this cube is actually turns very well. I label it a sticker version only because that’s what I’ve seen others label it as. However, it doesn’t actually use stickers. The cube uses tiles in place of stickers. So, you don’t have to worry about them peeling over time or fading. Next on the checklist is its ease of movement/speed and its ease of use. Like I said.. it isn’t built like your average speed cube. However, it actually is very good considering the fact that it isn’t built the same way as all of the others. You can actually modify this cube. Under the center tile on each side, if you pull off that tile, you can use a screw driver to tighten or loosen the cube to make it a little bit more personalized to how you “cube.” With all of this in mind, I would say that this cube would be great for beginners interested in just learning how to solve a cube, or just as a small gift to give your kid just to let them mess with, as it is something different and also allows them to exercise their brains while trying to solve it. The cube is very sturdy unless you loosen it up too much, then the cube will pop a corner off if you turn to hard/fast on a corner cut. This cube would also be great just to buy for yourself, just to mess with, or even just to throw on your shelf in your home or in your office at work. It’s actually a super cool/fun conversation starter. Non cubers literally always come ask me if I can solve a cube when they see me messing around with mine. They always end up mind blown when I solve it in front of them. lol

I really (foolishly) thought this wasn't gonna be that much more difficult than a normal 3x3. I'm certainly not fast enough for any competitions, but my average solve time is just over a minute which I don't think is terrible for someone who's only been in the hobby a few months. So I thought I'd be able to figure it out. It took me over ten minutes just to get the first cross done. After more like forty minutes I got stuck in an unending loop thinking I got the first layer solved, only to look around the perimeter and realize that the corner piece I'd slotted in was wrong. Haven't even gotten to the second layer yet and I've had it for over a day. My sole complaint with it is that the turning is kinda crunchy, as is expected with this brand's cubes. It's definitely not for speed solving, but let's be real, you're not gonna be speed-solving this thing anyways. That being said it is just, like, visually beautiful. Taking it outside and rotating it in the sun is very pretty and disorienting. I included some close-up shots of the lenticular tiles; there isn't an easy way to tell which color is on which layer except by physically moving the cube. Great overall. Kinda pricey for a Rubik's cube but the novelty is something else. Can't wait to see my buddy who got me into cubing in the first place to see if he can figure it out.

I love the retro packaging and the fact that they made the white side gold for the 50th anniversary. I was able to remove the cube, play with it, and get it back in the package for display. The band on the bottom can be peeled off and stuck back on. Its like peeling the label off of a water bottle. The cube itself seems a bit easier to turn than the original, but for me its been 50 years ... One star off because Amazon pastes on their own large product identification sticker to the plastic dome which is very difficult to clean off. Be aware of this if you are buying it for display.

前にCONNECTEDを買って遊んでいたので、Xが付くのでステッカーレスにでもなったかと思ったのだが、むしろ劣化していた。 CONNECTEDは充電式、CONNECTED Xは電池式 これは、まぁ良いとして、何方の同じアプリでBluetoothてスマホ若しくはタブレットと接続出来るのは良い。 但し、キューブとしての回しやすさの性能に関してはCONNECTEDは磁石内蔵、CONNECTED Xは磁石無し スピードキューブには磁石内蔵が必須なので、これは練習にもならない。 回し安いが、磁石が無い普通に回し安いキューブでしかないので残念だった。 分解して見ると一応マグネット対応する為のマグネットポケットがあるので3mmx2mmのマグネットを自分で内蔵することで、使い勝手は改善出来そうだが、磁石無しバージョンだす意味ないと思うけどな

Good old classic, the time machine cube!

Het wit/oranje blokje kwam al gebroken aan. Hierdoor draait de cube niet goed, omdat het plastic gebogen is. Op deze manier heb je er niets aan.
