Tiger Balm Ultra Strength 0.63 oz

Excellent product for pain relief. I take a blood thinner and cannot use oral anti-inflammatories. This product contains methyl salicylate, but my doctors said it would not interact with the blood thinners since the topical application does not reach the bloodstream to a significant degree. It provides almost instant relief to my muscle pain, and the aroma is very comforting and calming. I have tried both the Ultra strength white and the red varieties. Both relieve pain, but I prefer the stronger aroma of the white, and I've read the red version can stain clothing. Arnica is another good product, and I alternate the two using Arnica in the morning and Tiger Balm in the evening.

I don't really like the cream all so much but I like the jar, the jar is cute, I do leave it on my desk and occasionally I do apply it. I really think it's the smell I don't like as it is a good pain reliever.

I have tmj and it has been manifesting as pressure in my jaw/cheek area. I was recommended to try out tiger balm by one of my coworkers who SWEARS by it and it has worked really well. It has a fairly strong smell, and is thick in consistency. You’re not necessarily supposed to use it on your face, but as long as you keep it away from your eyes, I found it to be okay. There is a mild stinging that happens when your eyes are near it, similar to onions, but goes away quickly. Again, this would only affect those who want to use it on your face. Overall the tiger balm minimizes my pressure and allows for me to carry on my day without TMJ issues.
