Good cheap battery replacement. Works & easy to install. Better value that expensive batteries in a pinch.

Only time will tell if this replacement holds up better than the lousy battery that came new with the mower. That original battery did the job well and held enough charge to start the mower every two weeks all through that first season. But, after sitting for several months during the winter, it didn't hold enough charge to even crank the mower the first time we tried starting the next spring. Not a big deal since it also has the usual recoil pull starter and we haven't gotten too old yet to use that. But having the key start is nice and having the original battery no longer holding or building much charge after just one year was a disappointment. So, we're eager to see if this one does better. It fits, it cranked the mower instantly the first time I hit the key. Now we'll see how well it holds charge between uses. There are battery maintenance chargers available. But, there is no recharging port on the mower. You have to take apart the battery box to plug the battery into any charger you buy. Just not worth the trouble except during the winter when the mower is not being used for months; especially when there is always the pull rope as backup. Whatever you do, if you buy a charger, buy it here or some place like Harbor Freight Tools where you can get it for under $20. If you look it up on the Honda website, they are asking OVER TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for it. Has to be a pricing mistake but until they fix it...

Needed a battery to replace the one the was failing and could not find the exact replacement using the model number on the battery. Guess it was no longer manufactured. This replacement battery works great so far, have to see if it lasts three or four years in relatively easy standby service to maintain power to a fiber optic router and in house surveillance camera.

It’s too small

While the battery I ordered wasn't what I was looking for (wrong size) The Mighty Max employee I spoke with was very helpful and took care of my issues.

Pay attention to the written dimensions and also know what a 1.3ah battery is good for. Pretty much 30 minutes of a 12v bulb. It's a 5 star battery as specified but the photo actually manke it appear much larger and longer than it is.

Battery keeps UPS running when power goes out, so modem stays on, and so does the VOIP phone unit on so dial tone is still running during power outage.

I think the mighty battery company makes excellent batteries. There's some of the longest lasting batteries I've ever purchased.

I use it as a testing battery for projects, I have killed it down to 10v twice and it always charges back up. I froze it for half the winter down to -51c and it still works great. I’ve dead shorted it, ran light bars off of it and lots more. It’s not often that I am truely impressed by a product. High quality, good performance and cheap.
