I decided to get these mixed-pearl pit balls after looking at several other options. There seems to be mixed reviews for all of them about durability and complaints about the balls being too small because it did not fill up the foam pits or a kiddie pool. These balls were 2.2 inches and I wanted to cover the floor (one layer) of a playard, which measured a little over 2’x3’ (24”x36”) so that’s 12x18=216 balls so I purchased two bags of 100 balls each. When it arrived, I received the exact amount, all in perfect shape. It didn’t completely fill the floor of the playard, three bags would’ve been perfect, but my baby is content with what we have so I’m happy. My little one is less than 1 year old and weighs about 20 pounds. The balls are small enough for a baby to grab and hold with one hand. My LO has stepped on, fallen over and laid on the balls while playing with it and the balls have maintained their shape (no dents). Measure and calculate the size of the intended area of use to get an idea of how much you will need.

These balls are very cute and have really pretty and vibrant colors. The quality and feel of them are very nice. They seem to be holding up to our toddler jumping on them on a daily basis. The only slight “downside” about these balls is that they are a little smaller than I was expecting. Since they are smaller, it takes more of them to fill up a ball pit, and they aren’t cheap. But all of that said, our kids love them and they have a lot of fun playing with them! 4.5/5.0 stars
