DigiRoller Plus III 6575

I have used wheels for more than 25 years. The advances made in this wheel are comparable with those of any other piece of electronics over the same time period of time. The only thing this wheel doesn’t do is sync with my iPhone. In many respects, this wheel out performs the accuracy of a tape. Even over rough ground where wheels I had in the past would completely fail. I especially like the functions available on the keypad, but the design and instrumentation goes well beyond. The collapsible arm with carry case is a big plus. The old wheels with retractable arms always failed. Secondly, I am 6’4” tall. Many wheels I have owned have required me to walk around like victor Hugo’s hunchback. This stick is plenty tall but the design allows for a smaller person to feel quality comfortable by running the wheel at a slight angle. The handle is comfortable another big benefit I see is that when you stop the wheel stops - even when it loses contact with the ground. The add radius button is nice, but this is by no means the first wheel I have had with a function like that. The keypad has performed well- no stuck keys no multiple taps to get it to work and is glove friendly. Calculated industries did well in product design and implementation. I definitely recommend this product. While it is significantly more expensive than some competitors, the advances in both form and function make up for it.

Overall, saves a lot of time measuring very long distances or measuring sq footage around a building. Laser is faster, but during the day, laser may or may not work properly. Therefore, this is guaranteed to work just fine.

Easy to use and read. A little on the heavy side because it is made to last. I have used wheels for the last twenty years and this is the nicest one I have had. I think it will hold up over time.

Work in asphalt and we use these everyday. They last us a long time and they are reliable. We continue to purchase as well. Light weight. Easy to store and also easy to use.

Great tool for measuring. I am an exterior designer so this definitely makes my life a lot easier. The reason I wouldn't give it 5/5 stars is because is very over priced. I know it is inexpensive to manufacture, they just mark it up very generously because their isn't much "digital" measuring device competition out there (yet!)

Primarily using this for measuring exteriors of homes. I probably pull this out 3 to 4 times a day for my job. I was buying a new measuring wheel every year before I found this. The other styles with a counter just don’t last and aren’t nearly as accurate. I am on my second season with this one and it still works like the first day I bought it. Very easy to read. The stand is sturdy. I have gotten almost everyone in my office to buy one as well. Pay the extra money and get this wheel, you won’t be disappointed.

The asphalt business is hot and rough but I have been using this measuring wheel for months now and it’s still working great. I like that it also folds up and easy to store.

Absolutely awesome! Easy to use and has the features that I need. As a landscaper I spend a lot of time measuring large areas that aren't perfectly square. This wheel isn't only built like a tank but it becomes a conversation piece for my clients. Every little thing to make your first impressions the most professional possible is worth doing when running a service business. Think about it, if a landscaper came to your house with this wheel vs a home depot special who would you think the professional was?

I originally had a Collapsing small wheeled measure that I bought at a surplus store. I used it once or twice a year around the property. It was a pain to use as it always collapsed and the small wheel was not very accurate over longer distances or on the lawn. I learned to measure atleast twice. I made due as I didn’t want to pay 100 bucks or more for a better one. When I saw this one used but in good condition I decided to try it out as I was intrigued by the digital read out. All I can say is wow this Unit is well built and easy to use. Pros: Read out and buttons on handle (easy to use and see) Light for display Uses 9v batteries (not leaky AAAs most things use nowadays) Has a fitted knapsack to carry the unit folded Has a pendulum type pointer that you attach to The wheel hub to aid accuracy Has extensive digital measurement options (area, volume, units etc) it can even add the radius or diameter of the wheel to the measurement for an accurate measurement right up to a wall. Cons; Pricey (new) Needs a battery to work as with all electronics The included carry knapsack needs a small pocket to store the users doc and a spare battery! I’m very happy with this (Used) purchase although this unit is capable of a lot more than I need.

Excellent quality, times saver and everyone that uses it wants one.

I’m a professional estimator and have bought many wheels over the years. I find this one to be the best. I have had a random issue with it but since the warranty is 2years; the company Calculated Industries have replaced it without a fuss. I’m very pleased with the service I got with them and really like my measuring tool that i use everyday.
