The Pregmate 50 Ovulation Test Strips Predictor Kit has been instrumental in my journey of cycle tracking and health monitoring. While I do not intend to conceive, these test strips serve a crucial role in validating the data provided by my OURA ring. As a tool for fertility awareness, the Pregmate strips are exceptionally reliable and user-friendly. Each strip provides clear results, indicating the surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) that precedes ovulation. I use them regularly to cross-reference and verify the ovulation data recorded by my OURA ring, ensuring accuracy in my cycle monitoring. The affordability and inclusion of 50 test strips in the kit ensure I have an ample supply for consistent testing throughout my menstrual cycle. The packaging is convenient and discreet, making it easy to use at home without any hassle. One of the standout features of the Pregmate strips is their consistency in results, which closely align with the insights provided by my OURA ring. This dual approach has enhanced my understanding of my cycle patterns and overall health status. While interpreting faint lines on the strips can sometimes require careful observation, I've found the process straightforward with practice. The clarity of the test lines has been crucial in distinguishing between positive and negative results. In conclusion, the Pregmate 50 Ovulation Test Strips Predictor Kit is an invaluable tool for anyone, like me, who tracks their cycle for health and monitoring purposes rather than fertility. It provides reliable validation of my OURA ring data and supports informed decisions about my reproductive health and overall well-being.

I ordered these because my husband and I are trying to conceive our second baby and it's taking longer this time around than it did for our first baby - I was using the Flo app to track my periods/predict ovulation and I was curious if these would tell me I was ovulating around the same time that the app predicted - turns out I ovulate later than predicted, so that is nice to know. I've used these for two cycles now and I'm still not pregnant, so take that as you will. Pros: -Easy to use. Pee in a cup, dip the stick in for 5 seconds, lay it flat, let five minutes pass and then read your result. I use the Premom app to take a picture and record my results and it tells me if my LH level has peaked. It's nice to have a convenient way to track the results day over day. -Cost effective. For the number of test strips you get, the price is good. Probably my biggest gripe with these is that the package itself doesn't come with very thorough instructions. There's no instructions on the outside of the bag, instead it asks you to scan a QR code to get the instructions online. I also (incorrectly) assumed that I should use these first thing in the morning like you would for a pregnancy test, when in fact you shouldn't use your first urine of the day for these. After realizing this, for my second cycle I started testing around 8am (I wake up/go to the bathroom around 6am most days) and the results seemed much more accurate during the second cycle than the first (I never got a true 'peak' during the first cycle).

Accurate and easy to use! Download the pregmate app so it’s easier on you, but it’s pretty much straightforward. I take 3 tests just to be accurate

These test strips have worked great for us! I used every day, taped strip to a paper with date for record. On the day of ovulation it showed a darker color compared to the other days. We got pregnant 2 years ago using these. Now, I'm using to keep track of ovulation. Love them.

This is my first time trying strips and I found them very useful and accurate. I’ll share some tips and info that helped me: - It’s important to test around the same time each day and not first morning urine, like the directions state. So... in order to use these correctly, you need to have the time and facilities to be able to pee in a cup consistently each day. - It helped me to start testing earlier than recommended because my cycle has been a little inconsistent and I liked being able to see a few definitive negative readings to help me identify a positive. Also, because ovulation times can vary amongst different women, widening the window of testing time can be informative. - If you test at varying times of the day on non-ovulating days, you will get varying negative results (with the line being darker and lighter at different times). This does not mean anything because LH is always present in your urine. With that being said, unlike some digital tests, there is no progressive darkening of the test line building up to the surge. So there’s no in between, you are either about to ovulate in 12-36 hours or not. It’s a yes or no. (See attached photo) - I did notice that when I got a positive result, the test line would start to dramatically darken immediately after dipping. It was super quick and undeniable, so that made it very easy to identify. - If you are having trouble interpreting the results, there are apps that enable you to photograph the strip with your smart phone and it does the interpreting for you. I used Glow and found it to be helpful and kind of fun. It also helps to ask a second opinion from your partner. After looking at so many pregnancy strips and ovulation strips, it can make you feel like you don’t know what you are looking at anymore and a second set of eyes helps. (See attached screenshot of ovulation app) - If you have the time and patience, these are a great alternative to expensive alternatives. I liked the clear blue fertility monitor, but the test strips were too expensive. I hope this helps😀
