So far so good.
In case anyone is curious, the kindle scribe pen doesn’t work on Kobo Sage. It’s a lovely device to hold, lighter than my Kindle Scribe.

Wi-Fi set up
Tried multiple times to set wi fi up each time failing, I think it has to be charged more ok so went to my kobo acct on line and set it up easily. This is a big beautiful e-reader with 32 gig storage and I am in love with it, Just need to get stylus to write on ebooks the kindle scribe does not allow this boo kindle scribe

Great e-reader
Takes time to turn on. Have to keep the on button pushed in for about 4 seconds, but once you get the hang of it, is very good substitute for the printed word. Especially if you like to read in bed before sleep. menu is very intuitive, extremely easy to use. Bonus is you can borrow library books, and make handwritten notes / sketches, (if you buy the stylus) it works well but is slow, and is not any good for art work, just basic diagrams. There is some ghosting, but quickly disappears. Overall extremely pleased with purchase, there are improvements to be made, however nothing to stop me from recommending highly.

Manga Marvels Unleashed - Kobo Sage Review
!Honest Review! Being new to E-readers I struggled to figure out which one to use, however I eventually decided on Kobo and can confirm the Kobo Sage is a manga lover's dream, combining cutting-edge technology. Its sleek design, powerful performance, and vibrant display bring manga series to life. If you are struggling for space and love manga, I would recommend Kobo! Its great for double pages as it has an auto rotate feature!

Kobo Sage Reader
Kobo Reader model Sage has proved to be problematic. The device often goes to sleep, but does not power down automatically. It is best to hold the power button in until the Powered Off message. Otherwise the Sage is OK bar the slow bootup. There is a workaround to be able to install your own DRM free books so you are not tied to the Kobo Library.

I so wanted this to be a keeper...
I was wanting to move to an ereader with a larger screen than my aging Kindle Oasis. I was hesitant about Kobo, having tried three a few years ago, one Clara and two Libras - all with really poor screen lighting - uneven and with bright blobs of light along the edges. I mostly read indoors at night, and uneven screen lighting is an annoying distraction. I thought that surely the issue has been addressed by now, so tried again with the Kobo Sage. Well, out of the box it looks great. Until you switch on the screen light. Same old problem - this one noticeably bright on the RH side, fading to a mucky dull yellowish middle and left. I returned the item and re-ordered, fingers crossed - online research suggests it’s still a bit of a lottery with Kobo screens. But the second one was the same, a bit more so if anything. So disappointing. Why on earth is it so difficult to fix this issue? Kindle have been getting this right for years - my Oasis has perfectly even lighting across the entire screen, as did my previous Paperwhite. I was hoping to future-proof my ereading life, since Kindle seem to be phasing out their ereaders, but it looks like I’ll be buying another Oasis while they’re still available to keep as a spare.

Easily superior
I had a Kobo Aura one that lasted 5 years before dying, so 18 months ago I bought a Kindle Oasis (not cheap) to replace it. After just over a year the corners have faded considerably in it, and so I swore I'd never buy another Kindle. The Sage is the device I should have bought the first time. Big screen, stylus support and Overdrive and supports much more ebook formats.
